Well I just got into the pocket carry bit with my snub nosed 357. I use one of CTD's Ace Case pocket holsters, so far I'm liking this.

Taurus 605. I saw the Sp that you have, and if I lived closer with some available cash would likely own it. I love those bird's eye maple inserts, where did you find them, and do they make them for the GP-100?Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Rugerforum.net has a member named magnum41 that has them for sale on the parts and accessories thread most of the time. Also try www.Altamontco.com. They are a production maker.

Seahawk, I used to have one of those "darned things". A friend of my brother wanted it more than me so it went away. I tried several leather holsters for it but the holster always came out of the pocket with the gun. LOL. I went to IWB various guns after that but now do the pocket carry PM9 when I can't IWB. I find the superfly/PM9 borderline for my wardrobe. It looks like I have a huge billfold in my front pocket but at least it doesn't print "gun" or hang up on my shirt at the very arobic kind of job I have.

I see you're in DFW. When you're flush again, I'd meet you halfway between Houston and Dallas during the week or Austin and Dallas on some weekend. Just a thought.Originally posted by jlottmc View PostTaurus 605. I saw the Sp that you have, and if I lived closer with some available cash would likely own it. Is the GP-100 grip larger? I thought I had some but I made these for my GP101. Its a 22 but I think it's the same grip as the 357. Planned on getting one of those and thought the 22 would be good for practice. Might be smaller. I put some CT laser grips on it for my wife so they are just in the box.Originally posted by jlottmc View PostTaurus 605. If you think they'll fit, I'll send em south. I think I have a hunk big enough of the birdseye for a set of these too if you'd prefer.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

Huh... Never had a problem with the JS holster. Mine (PM9 & P3AT) are very well broken in and the pistol slides easily in and out. When I grip the grip, my hand automatically pushes the "anti-print" flap out and away. I just use a finger to push/hold down on the holster when I draw, which takes no pressure at all. Stays in the pocket every time.Originally posted by dusty10 View PostSeahawk, I used to have one of those "darned things". A friend of my brother wanted it more than me so it went away. I pretty much live in looser fitting cargo pocket shorts and pants. Printing is never a problem in the front pockets.

Those are mighty fine looking. In answer the GP is the larger of the 357's. How did you hide the screw hardware on those? That screw goes all the way through the middle of those inserts. Let me talk to the ole lady and see what I can do about some of that action. Thanks Gentlemen.Originally posted by Bawanna45cal View PostIs the GP-100 grip larger? I made them tight enough that the rubber part of the grip just holds them tight. It's actually hard to get them out and I didn't want to ruin the look with a screw in the middle. Easy enough to add and if I were to carry this gun I'd no doubt put the screw back thru.
So you think the GP handle is larger as well as the whole frame than the 101? Probably so.
No need to bury the ole lady in candy if they'll fit their free to you or I can make some if I had a GP handle to work with.
I dont want to open a free wholesale warehouse but this will be my good karma for the month or maybe week.
