Hmm.....I assumed more than 1 change would have been made at once when they made the switch to a new slide style

I think they have something there. Why not have a solid fin from the front sight to the rear? Might it be a good idea!

But I figured "New Style Slide" literally meant the whole slide...not just 1 thing on it.

The new style refers to the slide itself. It's a hair longer and tapered. None of the new style slides would have the old sight dovetails.
That change was made prior to the new slight configuration. Guess it does eliminate the which dovetail type do I have.

What are the reasons for the changes? That's always going to bother me lol.

I believe that Jocko asked and was told "because the boss (Kook Jin "Justin" Moon) said so."
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

Preacher's kid actually. Reverend Sun Myung Moon is his father. I understand he has some siblings but that "Kevin" is most likely to take over the family church business in part because of his success with Kahr Arms and the supporting companies that he established to make the guns.

doe sthat bring back memories. My family had a 57 in two tone, turquoise and white with 4 bbl carb, torgueflight push button on the left hand dash. First thing my dad did back then was put on a set of those fokking clear plastic seat covers. Certainly we can all remember back then how the clear plastic seat cover craze was...

My girl friend and I spent alot of time i that back seat to, damn that was a nice car..

I'll bet those clear plastic seat covers proved invaluable while all that was going on!

fokkers were ot in the summer and cold in the winter.

certainly u don't think I was up to no good because we were n the back seat???It was just more comfortable. I didn't last long at Brigham Young University but I believed in Brigaham youngs philosphy and that was " I don't care how u bring um but bring um young".

I really liked the styling of those late fifties Chrysler products. Too bad the quality was such that there are a lot more GM's and Fords from that era. Two or three years ago I was phone bidding on one of the Barrett-Jackson auctions in West Palm. I was working on a rotisserie Restored 1959 DeSoto convertible in red and white. I got out bid at the last second by $100. Man, I really wanted that car even though I had no idea what I was going to do with it.
