You do some real pretty work, Mike!

The first link is no good because the forum censored a word in it. You can fix it by hiding the link behind some text, like this:

    Very interesting...

Some people like that and it's certainly OK. It's just not for me. It might be suitable to display behind glass.

I carry my CM9. When I am carrying it, it is concealed. So the shininess doesn't attract any attention. And it shoots as smooth as it looks!

Thanks guys! I apreciate the feedback regardless of view.

I will say; I've never left anything "stock" per se, I have this incatiable need to make "mine better" (the beauty/performance is in the eye of the beholder)

I was more sharing for the sights than anything. Again, I'm glad to see feedback. Too many a fora are lacking in replies to the new guys.

I've been shopping heavily for the right deal on a CM9 as I feel it's the best mix of all side arms I've owned, and frankly think it's already a handsome piece "stock"..

          -Michael

Ps: here is the link to my XD9sc that I adored, chopped up due to my iPhone posting atm...

I bought it like that, but I think it would cost $250 - 300 to get everything mirror polished like that. I got lucky!

This was done using gradually finer grades of sandpaper and then polishing compound like Flitz to finish it off. Some have said that Mother's Wheel polish and a lot of time could achieve the same thing.

New member here and for my first post I thought I'd share some pics of my polished PM9. I purchased it, used, with a few minor handling marks from the previous owner - nothing serious, just the usual scuffs and such from being carried. I sanded it with 1500 grit paper, then 2000 grit, then hit it with Mother's Mag Polish. I'm happy with the results.

Have u shot it yet o se ehow it funcitons:

U might wantto review some good stickys on the kahr tech section like:

                  Kahr lube chart

                  Propper prepping of ur kahr.

                  New member thread

U got the nices blunt nose kahr made, so hold on to it. u can go to glock talk and hit on kahr serial numbers and find pretty close when that POS was made to. It is relatively a new model though as the torx screw in the side plate indicates that to. I have two of them.. welconme to the insane forum to. every once in ahwile we hit on sumpin that makes sense and it will go for 48 pages. I see ur new here but if u want to reisgn just post it here and we will give u at least 15 pages of goodbyes. Were just that firiendly.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Thanks for the welcome. Funny you should ask... NO, I haven't even shot it yet! I plan to remedy that this coming weekend. I will check out the threads you mentioned, thanks.

Forgot to mention, this isn't my first Kahr. I also own a P380 that has been a great CCW, especially in the summer when I want to carry in shorts and a t-shirt. I think I'm bit by the Kahr bug. I find myself searching for a MK9, now.

Lol, I haven't been here long enough to follow the above post but I did laugh pretty hard while reading it. What exactly is a blunt nose? Is there something about this pistol that makes it different?

stay away from the kahr 45's though, stick with a real gun like that blunt nose PMJ9. it is in a class all by itself. Just sayin..

I seen tonight in the news that florida is getting hit by the super mosqito about the size of a quarter. Also two have beenfound dead and they were packin the little P380 on them to. Just sayin
