  • Best/cheapest place for Kahr accessories?

I picked up a CM9 today for a daily carry at the office gun, much more concealable than my Glock 30. I want to pickup an additional magazine w/finger rest for my weak-side pocket as well as a finger rest base plate for my stock mag. Being only a few hours into Kahr Arms ownership I'm wondering where the best/cheapest place to pickup accessories is.

    TIA!

Seven rd mags are available....been trying to find cheap six rounds....everyone is out, or the po rice is barely discounted.

Means the cm9 is a hit

+1 on Ivanhoe. IMHO, forget the finger rest. It detracts from the concealability of the gun and you don't need it for gripping the gun—the two finger grip is very firm and it is comfortable just to curl your little finger under the mag. Or, just put the finger rest on your spare mag.
          Very interesting...

buds usually has them, cheaperthandirt does have them most of the time but shipping is a arm and a leg.
Focus on your front sight..... The rest should be blurry!

Good to know! I am not always a huge fan of finger rests but thought with the small form factor of the CM9 they might be a help. I already ordered 2 from Pearce, they were only $20 so if I don't end up liking them I'm not out much.

I am using the same logic for the 6-RD mags versus the 7-RD'ers, the shorter the grip/mag, the more concealable. I always carry a spare in my weak-side pocket so 13 rounds will have to do.

Just ordered 2 6rd 9mm mags from Ivanhoeoutlet for my CM9 on Sunday ... got a shipping confirmation today (Tuesday).

BTW, $5 shipping and no sales tax.

In my experience with my PM9, I have feeding issues with the 7 round mags. I only carry the 6 rounders. I just picked up my CM9 today, and haven't fired it yet, so I can't say if that's the case with this gun.
                    Good luck,
                    Brad

Thanks guys, I ordered from Ivanhoe. I also haven't fired my CM9 yet, can't wait to do so.

I also ordered a holster from Tom at TheisHolsters.com. It'll be my first from Tom, I am excited for an alternative to Crossbreed, 5 days versus 4-6 weeks is incredible. The price difference is nice too, though I would always pay more for a faster turnaround, in this case I'm actually paying less.

I have Crossbreed Supertucks for my Glock 30 and HK USP Compact. And I just got a Theiss for my SIG P226. The Theiss uses a thinner leather, but the quality of the holster is still very nice. It's comfortable and holds the gun well. I think it's possible the Crossbreed might last a bit longer, due to the thicker leather, but that's solely a guess. In the meantime, my Theiss is holding up well.

And in another example of what makes the world go round, I must disagree with JFootin re: the pinky extension. I find it makes a BIG difference in the shootability of the pistol (my PM9) and NO difference in the concealability (for AIWB carry), although, I admit the extensions could be problematic for pocket carry. IMO, YMMV, of course.

I found the pinky extensions and the extra mags at thegunsource.com at a good price. I got an extra 6rd mag and 2 pinky extensions for less than the Kahr stores cost of the mag alone. (they've increased their flat rate shipping from $2.99 to $5.99 since the last time I ordered from them, so maybe not as good a deal anymore).

Hey Brad, are these the Pearce extensions? I ordered 2 of them since my carry method will be all IWB. I have them on my M&P 9c and 40c since those are also only ever carried IWB.
