    Hi, Welcome to KahrTalk!

I can talk knowledgeably about the two pocket holsters you mention. I have three Nemesis holsters for other than Kahr and a modified by me Alabama holster for my PM9. The Nemesis is a fine pocket holster but it does add a lot of thickness to your pocket carry over a Kydex holster, the model with the flap will add even more thickness but on the plus side should eliminate any printing hint of gun. I would not use the Alabama and probably most other Kydex pocket holsters without them being modified to ensure they'll stay in your pocket while allowing for a smooth, fast draw.

Another route to go is the Remora no-clip holster. In my opion it will serve OK for both an IWB and pocket holster.

Along the same line of an affordable and quick solution, the Remora Series 4 Holster is just $24.95, and it can be used IWB, Appendix, and front pocket. They even have a version that also works as an Ankle Rig for a little more money. I would recommend the Sweat Shield option ($5) for IWB wear. Everybody that has one likes it and they say it stays put inside your waistband without a clip or any other attachment—amazing! I intend to get one with the 2 options mentioned for my CM9.

My friends, before deciding, please give some thought to what might happen if you were to get your thumb behind the shield on a critical draw.

Personally, Bill, I don't see that as a problem that can't be solved with a little practice. The much greater problem is if you are carrying IWB under a loose shirt and the slide of your gun is against your bare skin. Not good for you or your gun. Even with an OWB holster, I find the lack of a sweat shield to be a problem with gun metal touching bare skin if the holster keeps the gun tight against your body. But IWB, it is guaranteed to be a problem. (Opinion from one whose holster mistakes box has, and has in the past, had quite a few residents.)

I hear you and respect your opinion born out of experience. Guess you and I are the reason we find both options available.

You can find a crossbreed copy for less money if you just want a cheap holster.

Of the 2 choices you mentioned the MTAC is the better holster as far as quality goes.

Garrett Silent Thunder and DeSantis Nemesis cover all the gaps for me. I'm done . . . and well satisfied!

Yeah I might just get another MTAC for the Kahr. I could just buy a shell for the one I have but I rather be able to have them both in a holster. I will probably get the Super Fly instead of the Nemesis just because it is basically the same thing without the flap.

Hmmm, sounds VERY interesting AND affordable. I may seriously look into this to compliment my Tagua OWB leather that I wear with my suit coats. I know it's not the most popular way to carry, and certainly not the most effecting on the draw, but an ankle holster would give my dress casuals better concealment than pocket or tuckables. Any major criticisms or comments about this option for my PM9?

That is a cool holster idea! So versatile.

Just started using a "Silent Thunder" IWB Kydex with leather lining. Very small and comfortable.

Also just received an OWB from Alabama Holster. Looks nice but I am waiting for the cool weather to try it out

In the hot sticky weather of S.E. Florida, I am finding that the Silent Thunder is the best. I like it better than my Rosen Clipper, which is all leather and picks up more moisture than the Kydex.

I will try to get some photos up by morning.

Update on the Remora "3-in-1" 4L

Okay, here's my opinion about Remora's 3-in-1 Series 4L holster system:

                            The Good
                            1. Fantastic Customer Service (friendly, knowledgable, fast)
                            2. Affordable
                            3. Great intentions to provide versatility at a fraction of the cost
                            4. The "sticky" material really works great, as advertised.
                            5. It fits my PM9 like a glove.

                            The Bad
                            1. The ankle option is not worth the effort. I spent 2 days trying every possible option (both legs, inside/out, tight, loose, high, low, w/cant, w/o cant). Regardless of my attempts, it left my ankle bone bruised and very tender. There are no additional support straps to hold the thing in place. The lack of padding to make a slimmer pocket carry option hurts this ankle option greatly! Not even close to comfortable or acceptable. This option was a key reason I went with Remora.
                            2. The IWB option is "ok" but still does not give me the confidence and comfort I expect. You cannot tuck in your shirt (though I knew this before), and you must wear your shirt untucked or a jacket to cover it. Though the sticky material feels like it keeps your gun from slipping down, it's feels a bit more bulky than it should be for IWB. To get the confidence of carry, I have to cinch up my belt so tight that I sacrifice comfort. Better than nothing, but not worth it.
                            3. The pocket option is "ok", too, but still a bit too bulky for my small frame. I tried it on 2 different type pockets (casual, dress), but the battle of the bulge left me wanting a more slim pocket carry. Again, better than nothing, but not sure if it was worth the "3-in-1" price.

Verdict: I may send it back and request a Pocket Carry Only. It's about $10 cheaper than what I paid, and I know their Customer Service (Alan) would gladly make the exchange to keep me happy. Still a bit bummed about the ankle option not working, so my search for the right ankle holster continues....

It's Remora for me. You will not find a better person to work with than Alan B. at Remora. I have one for all my guns. The Remora works well even with the steel framed CZ-75.

I have a $12 Blackhawk #4 pocket holster and really don't see the need for anything else. I have a CT on my CM9, but if you do not, a #3 fits well.
