After reading dozens of shooting stories where the gun gets worse for wear I want mine to be more of a tool than pretty. I know some carry all their adult life and never draw but I really fretted over my PM9 for a long time. Now that I carried it a couple years it's so familiar that it is a tool. If the CM had been available I would have bought that instead.

To me this is the difference. If you want a gun as a tool the CM is best. If for a gun for others to admire, the PM is better. The same gun in different clothes.

I would definitely buy another CM9! With any machine there will be some that have faults, mine so far is flawless out of the box through the break in. Very well made, I carry it with confidence.

I carried the Kel Tec P32. When the P3AT came out I got one of the early guns. After the LCP had been out for a while and they worked out the bugs, I sold the P3AT and got one. I really longed for a small 9mm because the .380 is a bit underpowered.

Then various companies started coming out with the small 9mm pistols. I liked the PM9 but it was a little too expensive. When the LC9 came out I picked up one. Just a bit large and the trigger is a bit long, but extremely nice for the money.

Then the honey hole when I spotted the CM9. I traded a 442 S&W no lock and a bit of boot for it. It is literally perfect for me. I can carry it in a rear pocket like the LCP in everything except blue jeans. I have 525 rounds through it now. During breakin at approximately round 115, had one FTRTB. Bumped the slide and the round chambered. I really love this little 9mm. Only other problem was a bad mag that locked the slide back with only two rounds fired. Kahr sent my replacement this week. Still need to get it back to the range and prove the new mag out. Two others are flawless.

I know that some are having problems with theirs. Also, there may be other options out there. But for me, this CM9 is perfect. I am truly happy and I believe that it will be my carry pistol for many years to come.

            Regards,

            Chuck

500+ rds thru my CM 9. Zero problems. I carry it in a pocket holster sometimes & sometimes a IWB holster. Very easy to carry & conceal. I think it conceals better than my S&W 642 because its thinner.

              No Regrets here.
