I'm starting to see more and more reports about the P45/CW45 shooting easier than the P40/CW40. I think there might be a CW45 in my future...
    Very interesting...

Go for it, not a thing wrong with it. It's fun too. Thing is recoil does not bother me, in fact I like it, the wife on the other hand needs more trigger time to overcome that problem.
Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

The olive branch is considered a symbol of peace, and good will. Last time I checked, it's still a switch.

andI wold think that statement is very true. Most 40's in most kahrs--PUNISH the shooter..:86:
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

My wife struggled with my CW9 slide and operation so Kahrs went out the window for her. She tried the P238 and liked it but when she picked up a Glock 26 she fell in love with it and shot very well. Slide and other operation is no problem for her.

Had a CCW instructor recommend ladies against hammerless revolver due to finger strength required for first shot in a stressful situation. Claimed accuracy was to poor to take a chance on when speed was important. Train to pull the hammer back during the draw and trigger pull was not much of an issue.

Excuse me while I go buy more ammo for the wife.

My wife's carry gun is a Kahr CW9. Better quality gun and a more effective cartridge than her previous guns (Kel-Tec P32 & Sig P238).

My sweetie works near a range, and ran in during her lunch to rent the Sig p238. She loves the sights and says the recoil is nothing to speak of. She only shot 80 rounds through it, but she was impressed. I'm a little worried about a single action handgun, but her first handgun was a Springfield 1911.

Bought a used S&W 13-3 awhile back. Let the wife shoot it and she really liked it. I gave it to her. She likes the 1911 more than any I have but too big for her to carry.

I love my CW45, just do not get enough trigger time...Schedule just doesn't allow for it. Luckily having a range date night coming up soon.

Next purchase is the Ruger SR40c. Haven't shot it yet, but have shot the SR9c, and since we don't have any 9mm in the house, it's the SR40c. The SR9c was a DREAM to shot. I can only imagine what the SR40c shoots like.

Bersa Thunder 380. Easy to shoot, extremely reliable, and light weight. Only thing I don't like is that its a 380. Wish it was a 45. But she likes the lighter recoil.

Got mine the Ruger LCR in .357. She shoots .38spl out of it, but got the .357 version for the extra four ozs of weight. 357 in it is a HANDFUL, but .38 is less snap than my pm9. We got hers CHEAP because the guy who bought it couldn't handle the .357 load in it. Guess he never had the good idea my wife did...
If it's a penny for your thoughts and you offer me your two cents, what happens to the other penny? Taxes, the democrats tax everything!!

Well, I thought the Sig P238 was a done deal, but she ended up with a weapon that I never saw coming! Walther PPS 9mm. It's a beauty!

My wife WAS anti carry, but after a year of training, educational classes and a bad experience, she now carries a S&W Bodyguard 380. Before we purchased, she looked at every 9mm and 380 on the market. She did not like revolvers...just an appearance thing. She did not like the stubby sights on most 380 and could not work the slide on alot of handguns on the market. She can easily work the slide on the BG380, likes the built in laser, shoots it well, likes the compact, lightweight, comfortable carry piece with decent sights (not the snubbies like you find on most 380's) and with an external safety...all found on the BG380. It is priced right and has been a very reliable performer for her. Never a single failure of any kind and it eats any 380 ammo. I prepped it properly and worked the slide to break it in for her. She likes her fanny bag when she walks (for exercise) and the Remora for everything else. If you are looking for a nice, compact, reliable gun for your wife...check out the BG380 and Hornady's Critical Defense ammo. Folks may say the 380 is too small for SD, but we feel better about her carrying the 380 than nothing at all.

My wife went from a Sig P238 to the CW9. Makes a nice companion to my PM9, and she shoots it far better than the P238. Not to mention it fires a much better, less expensive round.
