I've been using FP-10 for the last year based on guidance I received from an armorer at one of those combat pistol training courses. They run 20 people through each class and they are all-day classes. Classes go almost all year long, so they have gained a lot of experience with different weapons, calibers, weather conditions, and cleaning/lubricating techniques. They see it all and know what works and what _ALMOST_ works (gives ups at a critical point in the training).

My 1911 was not running real well 100 rounds into the course. Cleaned and lubed with FP-10, and then ran another 900 without a hitch.

So...FP-10 is my go-to lube for all of my weapons.

Been using Mobil One V Twin 20/50 in my Harley and on my guns for years. No need to change now.

                    Breakfree CLP.

                    I've got to...

I bought a gallon jug in 1993 for $44. I cut it 4:1 with mineral spirits. I've still got almost 4x as much as I bought 20 years ago and don't have a hinge in the house that squeaks.

I recently tried froglube and am sold. I ran 100 rounds thru a Sig C3 today and the powder residue wiped right off, it smells good and I like it a lot. I use a hair dryer to heat the metal and it seems to almost soak in a bit. I'm going to stay with the stuff, I gave the grease from the kit to a gunsmith friend and I am ordering more today.

I use it on my CM9 and CW45 also and they smell "minty" if I ever had to stick the muzzle up a bad guy's nose, it would gently clear his sinuses, but not his pants.

ur a very wise man Popeye. esspecially in the Harley.. I have run Mobil one 15-50 before they ever came out with V-Twin . Now it is V-Twin in both of my harleys and Mobil One in all ofmy vehicles 0W-40 to be exact.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
