  • Kahr Cases

Why is it the company that is on the higher end of quality and price makes such a CRAPPY, CHEAP-LOOKING Case?
Short of a cardboard box, you'd think you were buying a Saturday night special.

I thought the same thing when I bought my first kahr...and second. Mine don't sit in the case much so doesn't really bother me. I would rather have a quality gun and cheap case, than vice versa.

I don't think anything is wrong with the cases. They are right on par with my Kimber and FN Herstal firearms. My Wilson Combat came with a soft sided nylon range case. My Kruger LCR was a cardboard box. Not quite sure you are expecting from a case. I agree with the fact that I would rather have a quality firearm and average case rather than the other way around. You are going to get a Kahr for under a grand, what would you like to be different about the case? Even spending $3500.00 - $4500.00 on a Wilson Combat 1911 doesn't get you a case that will blow your hair back. The gun however will!

Wow, I know three people now that have Wilson's. Two I've never met but I still know em right.

Someday my Wilson will come in. Been waiting for my ship my whole life, tired of waiting so now I'll wait for a Wilson.

they could knock offr 10 bucks and hand me my kahr in a brown paper bag and It would befine. My PM9 has never been back in that plymer box since I bopught it. That fokking box won't fit in my front pocket. Just sayin.

At least the case is a good size. I can't stand the oversized behemoths some brands use. HK uses a compact size usually as well. I like the small size. The Kahr foam cases are OK, or at least a bit nicer than the hard plastic ones.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

LOL. I don't want the ladies to start asking me, "Is that a Kahr box in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"

something new as my two kahr cases are hard plastic, no more no less.

My Kahr and Beretta 92 cases were both the same plastic and I thought it was nice. Talk about cheap, I had 2 Colts I bought in the 80's and they came in a cardboard box with styrofoam inserts. Now that was cheap. My LCP came in a cardboard box too.

None of them live in the box now.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

My thoughts, as long as it gets to an FFL safely and not all banged up. That's all that matters.

The XDM's do have a pretty awesome Pelican type case, like mine came with, but ya know that is part of the price. They aren't too much more than comparative guns...but they are more.

My new S&W 638 came in a cardboard box, a shipping container not really intended to be used after opened. But the Budischowsky TP-70 that I formerly owned came in a tiny cardboard box that was just barely big enough for the gun and the owner's manual to fit in it.
                        Very interesting...

I like the way Sig packages their pistols. Not that i can afford one.
