This is my 2000 Road King when it's clean which isn't very often. It's a 95ci, it makes 106 ft.lbs. and 103 h.p. on dynos. It'll probably be our last bike.
The wife doesn't ride, she sits on the back and snaps pictures. And when we get home we try to figure out which ones were taken where.
We used to do the mid April Laughlin NV. river run every year until 2005. At the start of April we would bundle up and cross the high mountain passes of Oregon in the normally depressing overcast weather, and I'd think to myself, Am I having fun yet? We'd stop for lunch and it would take 15 minutes to strip down and 1/2 hour to suit up.
Then when hit Northen NV.we would strip down to denim jackets, until we started over the high CA. mountain passes (we hated traveling all the way through NV.) Then when we'd get to Death Valley it was T shirts only from then on.

This is the only time of a break down on a 2008 10 state trip with a friend. The shifter linkage came off as we went into the Little Big Horn

This is on the Montana portion of the Bear Tooth Highway heading into the Yellow Stone. I remember this section really well. After a few beers I still get teased about my stupidity. There was a black bear cub that came out of the canyon on the right side of the road, he crossed and stopped on the slope on the other side. I was going to stop, get off the bike, get my camera and snap a picture of it. Then a little light came on in my head, and a voice said "don't stop for strangers"

I am addicted to brake fluid...don't worry I can
