yes indeed after eading wyns new post of what happened, I retract my initial statement of SCRATCH ONE ILLEGAL. TO NOW" SCRATCH ONE STUPID ILLEGAL."
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Are you saying that my post (#15) lacks compassion and expresses derision? I don't understand. Why would you think this?

      Please explain.

      Thanks.

PS One of my brothers and his family have lived in McAllen for over 40 years. I am very familiar with the Rio Grande Valley and the many problems caused by illegal aliens. For example, some hospitals have had to close because they are required by the Feds to treat any illegal alien that presents himself, but the Feds will NOT reimburse any of the cost. The net result? EVERYBODY LOSES! The hospital is no longer providing services to anyone.

My comment wasn't aimed at you directly, Snidely, it was an overall opinion of this thread. Some comments were well thought out, others were not.

It is sad to hear of any young life being taken via stupid firearms handling. I do feel for the family even if the fault for situation is in their lap. I have prayed for their loss.

The worst part for us is the statistic this represents for the Sara Bradys and like of the world.
Kid (under 21, so they'll say child), firearm death and of course the "child firearm death near the Mexico border" statistic... helps the governments fast and furious claims.

"All in all its just another brick in the wall..."
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
        "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
        "more stuff than you are"
        God Bless our Troups!

From the exact point from which it exited the muzzle then yes you are kinda correct but highly misleading. Have you never seen the video on the net about the 50 cal shooter who has the round bounce back and take his hat off? Probably not or you would not have posted this.

              likely the

Thanks, Jaguar. I thought that was probably the case, but wanted to make sure.

I removed my previous posts and apologize to anyone who found my remarks offensive...Even though he was an illegal he was still the man's son and my condolences go out to his family...

I can think of no greater pain in this life than to lose a son or daughter...

Thanks, TucsonMTB. No apology is necessary - even if it were, being a Bullwinkle and Rocky fan would make it irrelevant.

The 'peanuts' line was great, but not as great as the picture. The only one missing is Nell's father, Inspector Fenwick. All I can say about said picture is, "Curses, foiled again!"

It's always enjoyable to make contact with another Bullwinkle and Rocky fan. Unfortunately, I never made it to Custer, ND, but I'm sorry I didn't. However, as a young kid, I always wanted to move to Frostbite Falls, MN. I also wanted to attend Wossamotta U, Bullwinkle's alma mater, where he was a football star. Alas, I had to "settle" for the University of Texas at Austin.

PS If you go to Canada, don't mention that you're a Bullwinkle and Rocky fan - and under no circumstances mention Dudley Doright - they didn't appreciate it! In fact, they refused to show it.

PPS I'm pretty sure that Dudley would have carried a Kahr had they been made at that time.

I bought a DVD of some of the Bullwinkle shows that I loved to watch as a kid and in my area this was the only cartoon that came on TV Sunday's which made it even better....

My son shook his head and said, Dad you had a tough childhood and I feel sorry for you....Little toad doesn't know anything!!!

What is funny is to watch R&B now as an adult and you understand some of the language and double entendre concepts they were pushing back then. It really is a lot more adult comedy than kids understand.

So true. It was also very political.

I noticed the same thing many years ago when I re-watched them in collage. Very sophisticated jokes.
