Interesting thread. I've been away for a while relaxing in Yellowstone country so haven't followed this until now. Saw a grizzly this time - cool!

Never thought I'd say this, but my ardor for new acquisitions has cooled a lot lately, after a number of new additions to the family over the past 2 years.

I actually have a couple items that I just haven't had time to shoot yet, mostly because I just don't have time. Hard to justify buying something else until this changes.

I've also learned that when you have a bunch of things already, buying one more doesn't bring the pleasure that it did in the past. In that respect, those of you who only have a few guns will likely get far more enjoyment out of your next purchase than I will.

Having said that, my new H&K HK45c is really, really nice, so I'm going to focus on enjoying it as much as possible instead of thinking I need something else in addition. My 1911's are now jealous, and Glocks need not apply.

(Sorry - Just a stock picture.)

Great pistol - I bought the same one a year or two ago and it's an excellent shooter. I really should carry it more often, but the CW45 is just so convenient to strap onto my belt. I keep a full size USP 40 with NS's as my home defense gun and also have a compact SS USP 45. I've often said, that if I knew ahead of time that I was going to be in a gunfight, one of my HK's would definitely be with me.
