It's funny when Southerners talk real fast. You only get parts of words. Such as the man who speaks on TV ads for Johnson City Honda. It comes out in less than a second as "JoCiHonda", and you can barely hear the "da".

I am a southerner and was born and raised in WNC. When young, I watched a kids program on Saturday mornings from a TV station in Greenvile, SC. They always had an audience of kids from the area. The southern accent seems to be very enhanced in children. I noticed the tendency to add a 'y' and a vowel in the middle of many syllables, making two syllables, and replacing 'e's with 'a's. Quite amuzing! Example:
Host: "Where are you from, little boy?"
Boy: "Grayunvayul." (Greenville) (4 syllables!)
Host: "And where are you from, little girl?"
Boy: "Cayowpayuns." (Cowpens, SC)
LOL!

Ironically I have a new set scheduled for delivery Friday. I'm hoping the present set make it a couple more days.

You might consider lowering the window sill on that window, I'm not as lean, a lot more mean, and never a Marine (but I wanted to be) and I'm having a hard time reaching it. Even with your wives help it's becoming difficult.

Get over it. The extended slide lock lever looks like sheee-it! With that blotchy finish, replacement parts will always be a pain in the ***.

But . . . it does look like it would be fun to shoot. Good price for a long slide too.

Looks like I better fire up my outboard, the wind just dropped out of my sails.

I don't like the slide lock lever but I dig the blotchy finish, color case hardening blows my dress up clean around my ears. If it had a spur hammer I'd probably marry it.
