If both of the signs you posted were on the door, I would respect both out of common courtesy.
Texas is has two standard signs that have the force of law (30.06 mentioned above and 51% signs - for business that derive 51% or more of their revenue through the sale of alcohol for on premise consumption). I like the laws, clear and to the point, and if you carry past the signs you are in violation of the law.

I see "gun-buster" signs all the time and walk right past them not only because they do not carry the force of law in Texas, but also because I do not know the intent of the non-compliant sign. When the law took effect I asked my friend who was the branch manager where I bank if he knew the sign lacked any force. He replied, "I do, I couldn't carry my S&W in here if it did." His reasoning was that since it was a bank, it was a prime target for robbery, and since many non-gun enthusiast know this, the gun-buster sign gave many a level of “false security” they would not normally have, and it allowed his customers with a CHL access.

So from that experience, I have come to view the gun-buster signs as nothing more than a feel good signs for the masses, while CHL holders are freely allowed to walk past those. I have only seen a few real “30.06” signs, mostly at hospitals, six flags, and a mall. If I see the real deal sign, or if asked to leave for any reason (not doing so is trespassing), I would follow the law.

Of course every state is different, so make sure you know your state laws reguarding the issues.

It's legal to enter a restaurant that serves alcohol while carrying a concealed weapon, but a person is still not allowed to consume alcohol while carrying a concealed weapon in Ohio. I believe that is as it should be.

Maybe a bit off topic, but I was just thinking yesterday when wife and I got home from grocery shopping that age, long habit, and perhaps some senility have ganged up to leave me completely oblivious to the fact I'm, as always, carrying a gun. I never even really think about it anymore. Signs, no signs, whatever, it just doesn't register unless I'm going into a courthouse or somewhere equivalent.

Thing that keyed this thought is we got home from shopping and I put gun on the dresser and wallet on the closet shelf. This would be where the senility bit comes into play.

LOL! That just sounds like a bit of dyslexia! You're OK. Carrying does become something you don't even think about. I remember how nervous I was when I first started carrying, feeling almost like I was doing something illegal, worrying that people could see it and that it would be embarassing if they did. Now, I don't worry about it at all. I carry concealed with a valid permit. And if it is exposed, well, open carry is legal in NC with no permit. So, no big deal.
          Very interesting...
