Those purple grips are gorgeous! Love the look!

Thanks, I like them too. The gun had Houge rubber wrap around grips on it when I bought it and it came with the OG plastic grips. Hated the rubber and put the plastic back on the day I got it.
But... plastic grips on a 1911?
I needed wood ASAP and the sucess of the local TCU sports teams that year inspired the purple. Now that I've had these grips for some time, I can't imagin any other color working on it. I very seldom feel the need to carry .45acp when I have my .40 S&W Kahr, but when I do, thats the gun that rides along with me.
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
      "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
      "more stuff than you are"

I am looking at some g10 grips from Wilson Combat and was wondering if anyone knew if these are all thin grips and if they would fit a Kimber ultra CDP ii?
        Thanks in advance.
