Using white lithium auto grease ( purple tube O'rileys) and mobile 1 synthetic. Just did detail strip and polish, and wiped those parts with tuf-cloth. The tw oil is fine but the grease seems runny. Pick up some 'monoject' plastic syringes at a pharmacy or home medical and load the oils and grease in those.

The only lube a real man needs is a little maiden oil.Originally posted by rhd04 View PostI have Tetra gun grease. Do you think that's good stuff for the rails or is there better stuff? What do you think about using anti- seize?Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

I've had some really good experiences with unicorn s#@t. However, it has been hard to find lately as it seems like it is being horded by maidens (something about the rainbow color for eye shadow). So if you can't find it in the local gun shop, auto parts store, Walmart, etc., try some unobtainium. Works just a good and half the cost.On the internet, the number of posts do not correlate to actual knowledge.

Just lube the gun. Seriously, just lube the gun. Unless you are in a battlefield and your weapon is going to see thousands of rounds before you can do anything to it, it's going to be fine with just about any decent lube on the market. The important thing is the practice of lubing it.
I personally use Wilson combat's oil (I forget which specific one) because a lot of tests have shown it to be superior to others. Would it matter if I used a cheaper brand that didn't do as well in those tests? No, it's just what I like. I also use Remoil on my guns that I use for hunting, simply because hunting season takes place in low temperatures and Remoil is a thin lube. No tests to support that logic, just makes sense to me.
AGAIN, I stress, just clean and lube your gun, don't worry as much about the semanticsNo sir, I do not own any guns. I sold them all in fear that they might grow legs and murder me and my family since they've been portrayed as such evil objects by our current administration
