I drink the Red, Black is better but wife won't buy it.

I don't know what it cost but my mom like Dalmore. Got me a bottle at Christmas, very good stuff.

I took a bottle of Red on vacation, still a couple swallows left, guess I'll have one now in preparation for return to work tomorrow.

For some reason I look forward to it, I must be coming down with something. I do like routine and habit.

My wife left me on Friday...

as in I brought her to the airport so she could be with her mom after back surgery (for the fifth time) and to be with her when she gets cataract surgery on both eyes next week.

The good news for me is that I can now take out the Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .41 mag out for some fun. Yes, I had to smuggle it into the house without her knowledge.

I know, I'm a bad person and an addict. But at least I have something to show for my money! Guess I should post up a picture and range report on the thread I started when I put it on lay away.

Oh, and my Blazer is running right again after replacing the catalytic converter and EGR valve! Not so happy about the $500 to get things right again but better than making monthly payments!

Just got back Friday from a week at Ocean NJ. Where a friend had leant me his home free of charge on the beach. Had a great time. No internet ,no negativity, just sitting back chillin out with the wife eating some really good food. The most meaningful and hardest thing I did all week was get up at 05:30 and take a 5 mile ride on the boardwalk with my mountain bike and watch the dolphins in the surf and sun come up. Life is indeed good.

Reminds me of a trip to the Bahamas where I found a broken kite in the closet, fixed it, and flew it for a whole day. Glad you had fun.

Did that to one day when we were on the beach. My friend had one in the garage that we gave some airtime to. Kind of a weird looking thing but it flew like a Someabitch. I almost bought one down there that looked like a P51 Mustang.

Recently entered the Mad Dogs and Englishmen car show at the Gilmore Museum near Kalamazoo. Classic Mini's were the featured marque. Mine took third. I know this won't mean much to all the classic Chevy lovers out there but it was a fun day and a fun result.

Nice car! Wifey and I have had a lot of togetherness now since she lost her job about a month ago. The last two weekends we spent at two gun shows in a row here in Jacksonville. We had lots of fun meeting new people and I got to TALK a lot without typing!

Now we're planning to exhibit at the largest show 24/25 August at the Convention Center downtown. It's a lot easier when you have all your stuff boxed up and in bins ready to go!

I did get a little surprise when trying to help a guy figure out if the Glock +1 magazine base plate would work on the sub-compact mags, too. The guy whipped out a loaded mag from his holder for me to look at! I said you weren't supposed to have loaded mags, but he said he was a cop. I gave him one to try. I got a bunch free from CDNN when I bought magazines and was only trying to get $2 each anyhow.

We didn't sell any guns this weekend but I really enjoyed the camaraderie with the other "dealers" and the customers. I even managed to sell a few Glock mags at slightly more than cost and did sell a few at cost, too.

It seems like whatever is going on that may get me down, all I have to do is go play with her, or watch her and my wife playing together and everything just seems to get better.

My sentiments exactly Justin. You got a cutie there! I like how you said she has stollen the focus of your whole world. We have two daughters. The oldest turned 3 last month and the youngest is turning 1 this Wednesday. Time flys! I'll see if I can find a good photo to post.

My husband and I are spending the week camped near two of our grandkids. We were both married before (this time is really GREAT) and I've never been able to have kids,
so the grandkids are an EXTRA SPECIAL blessing to me. I got the promotion to Grandma without being a biological Mom.

Very cute Justin. One thing about grandbabies is they keep us young, grounded and what's really important in life. My granddaughter Emily is 7 going on 8 and I've been watching her one day a week since she has been 6 months old. It has been a blast. The girl flat out loves her Pop,Pop & Mom,Mom Harley.

I don't think I would be alone in telling you, no matter what kind of PIA they can be, you'll miss these days. Treasure everyone of them!
I'll be giving away my 1st protege July 4th after 27 years, she'll be her own woman, but always my little girl!
