Truth be told I don't recall ever being in one. See a lot of commercials.

Well, my collection now includes three Standard Capacity 9mm pistols. A Bersa Thunder 9HC, Ruger P94, and P95. They all hold 17+1 rounds. The Bersa has been in the nightstand for years, the Rugers are kind of my "goin' to war" guns (with my P90 in .45ACP, baby). The P95 is a skosh smaller and lighter and isn't that bad to carry IWB.

The US Army bought some P95s to issue to the Iraqi army, so it's a real military gun, and the Bersa is a common military and police gun in Latin America, so they're good enough for me.

None of that new-fangled strikie fire brake-handle-on-the-gas-pedal tupperware for me.

Well the good news about the case the thread started on is that Atlanta Police have made an arrest and they have the shooter in custody...The punk was turned in on a crime stoppers tip line and he wasn't too hard to identify, had facial piercings and tattoos on his neck....Here's tip number 1 for any gangstas out there, if you're going to do a broad daylight break in and shoot somebody and you have stick pins all in your face and tats everywhere then wear a mask and don't brag to your buddies who will gladly turn you in for 5 grand in reward money....The dumb chit still had the stolen .40 cal pistol on him when they arrested him so here's tip number 2 for all you poor misunderstood upstanding disadvantaged fine young African American street thugs, if you shoot someone doing a stupid crime that makes national headlines, DITCH the gun....

Paper said the turd was singing like a bird and they have names of all his robbing crew now so more arrests will happen soon...I hope they lock him up and throw away the key but sadly he will be back on the street in a very short time and next time his aim will improve and another innocent person will have to die before they really do put the scum bag away for good or better yet give him a final piercing in an arm vein...

My little guy is a good alarm system.

One of those noisy little beastlets alerted my MIL to a bad guy trying to break in her kitchen door late one night about 30 years ago. She threw down on the intruder with her mighty Titan .25 and skeered him off. The dawg took off after him hot on his heels, but she couldn't find it afterwards. The furniture store guy two blocks away found the brave little killer in his storeroom late morning.
My son still has that pot metal Titan - the only gun in my immediate family that has seen action against a two-legged critter.
