My luck a prosecutor would use the fact that I have gun insurance (I don't) against me, saying that I have it cause I planned to shoot somebody.

I still maintain, you take lawyers out of the equation and there'd be little need for insurance.

Let common sense prevail, course that all goes out the window the minute you mention lawyer, then its all about $$$$$$.

Thank you Colonel, for adding astute opinion! I value advice of the life-educated, but now I question further whether to become insured or not! You just added an element I had not pondered. Thanks!

Just like the ideal of carrying a weapon and protecting one self, each individual has to decide for themselves.

Next to lawyers, insurance companies are probably my least favorite things. O'Dell not included of course. Insurance is one huge mandatory gambling business and if they don't win, they just up the rates for everybody until the do win.
I've always figured a sure thing would be to invent something and then have it required by law. Money, money, money.

Myself, I will not be seeking out liability firearm coverage.

Who spends the most money on TV advertising? Insurance companies and Pharmaceutical companies!
