It looks pretty nice but I don`t think my PM9 has anything to worry about. She`s been far too dependable for me to go looking around at other offerings.Sig makes fine handguns and if its` new one is up to their usual standards it will do well in the marketplace.Just not in my marketplace.Sorry Sig,but my PM9 is too much a part of my everyday routine for me to be distracted.
In the area in which I now reside, when I`m placed in a group of four or five guys,I`m known as "the smart one".God help me.

kinda makes one eally appreciate how kahr was able to cut off about 5 ounces from the sigs "ultra advertised light weight".

My bet that sig will look much nicer in person than the picture shows. Personally I don't see it as an ugly gun at all, never been a sig fan. now had this gun comein at about 15 ounces Imight have given it some more thought . It is small, but it is heavy to.

        PM45 5.67 inches sig 5.5 inches
PM45 19.3 with mag. sig. 20.5 with mag.

45 caliber vs.9mm bigger hole. Again makes us appreciate what kahr has squeezed into such a much bundle

I'm not anit sig either, great company but lets give kahr credit wherecredit is due..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

It weighs one ounce more with empty magazine than my PM9 does loaded with 6+1. Sig P290 link:

If it were SA/DA, it would be more interesting to me... .380 ACP, 9mm, & .45 ACP.

After a couple of years of daily carry my PM9 has attained the status of comfortable, familiar, "all weather" tool; with my K9 and MK9 serving as system extensions. Took a lot to move on after a couple of decades of J-frames and .380s as adequate deep concealment carry weapons. With a now large investment in money, time, ammo, and training in something that most perfectly fits the niche need, I see no reason to even consider Sig's or anyone else's wannabe, catch-up toy.

competition is a good thing but i couldnt see this being an upgrade from the pm9. maybe a cheaper alternative for someone on a tighter budget. nice to see more products in the
                  "comfortable carry" class.

Local guy Holster...."Hidden Holster" he sells at all the local gun shows. He was building a web site, I will see if he's got it up and running. Holster is designed to hold cell phone and hide pistol. He makes several sizes in black and brown. I really like it, simple access and invisable.

I have also been feeling the need for a CZ Rami 9mm; looks like a real quality, small piece available in both 9mm or 40mm.

a nice gun , not even in the same leaque as the pM9 24 ounces 1" longer in length. wider by .3" inch, an excellent wiast band gun. Maybe now we can recognize and give cred it to kahr for making such a quality, reliable ultra lightweight pocket gun.

The Sig 290 price is nice:

                                MSRP: P290 Nitron, 9mm, SIGLITE NS, 6-rd. mag. $530.00
                                P290 Two-Tone, 9mm, SIGLITE NS, 6-rd. mag. $550.00

I paid $750 for my MA compliant PM9 w/o night sites. Worth every dime IMHO, but $200 and another $100 in night sites is nothing to sneeze at.
