well i wouldnt call it a hole, more like a melted valley. yeah you just touch the tip of the iron to the gun many thousand times.

I just got a wood burning kit over the weekend. It wasn't my intention to use it for grip stippling but I foresee an encounter with it and my PM45 in the near future. Prayers might be in order here.

I was pondering it's use in wood grip production but now maybe I can call it a dual purpose tool? At least until I ruin my first tupperware frame.

well you get into a rhythm and it goes fast. i could do a full sized gun in a few hours with breaks. maybe ill make a video of me stippling to show my skills off...

Awesome! If you wait for evnash to post his seminar on technique, I predict good things.

Knocking down the Kahr cheese graters would be cool. I like the rubber grips, but they are mostly there to shield my delicate pinkies.

Exactly my thoughts. I've thought of rounding off the graters rather than just grinding them off. I'm definitely waiting for the movie before I break out the branding iron. Hmmm, wonder how it would work on my cat or Beagle?

Two carefully placed strips of hockey tape covers the cheeze graters perfectly and can hardly be noticed, blending nicely with the color of the grip. A 2 minute job.
