A Cayuse, great ride, but they feel like you're riding in a blender. Fun to fly though.
All great additions. Thank you all kindly folks, now let's get the rest of the usual suspects rounded up, and get their stories too.

I just posted my shotgunning story on another thread and this is related. In the 90's when AOL was a dial up affair and you were charged by the minute, I was shooting a Ljutic shotgun and used that as my first email address so why not use it as my nick on bulletin boards? It's been unique enough that I've used it for over a decade and have only run into one or two boards/forums where it wasn't available.

I was gifted with the moniker "Pappy" as a 25 year old Marine Captain on my second tour in Viet Nam. The 42 is in remembrance of the Marines I lost.

Pappy I was fortunate enough not to have been in charge of anything when I saw Bosnia, boot PFC's are like that. Having said that, when I made NCO, I could imagine no worse fate than for me to lose Marines. Thank you for answering the call, but more importantly, thank the Marines' families of those 42 for answering.

Is that your kin folk I see on the TV catching them alligators with a clorox bottle attached to a big hook.

You pull em in and let bubba shot em with a nasty looking 22 rifle in all the excitement of the gator trying to get away wiggling all over the place.

Looks like it would be a blast to watch first hand maybe from the deck of the USS Missouri.

I love that show but wonder why they don't use a cattle prod in the water to stun um first but maybe that's not manly enough...If it were me I would be using sticks of dynamite at first sight.....

Loved that big alligator stew or whatever it was they cooked up to give the women folk the day off. Looked like it would be perfect for getting synthetic finishes off rifle stock when refinishing or maybe even the paint off your truck for a new paint job, if it stopped before it ate the metal.

I bet I could fit in down there pretty good, I only got 6 teeth left on top. Corn on the cob is becoming a real challenge.

You got some brave kin down there, won't catch me wrestling no gators from no aluminum boat. NO way. I'll be watching from the beach inside a 4x4 truck running. So I don't get stuck trying to get away.

First off i wanna say thank you to all of you on this board who have answered the call for service.... you are the real hero's. Now my name came from a hat i started wearing about 12 years ago when i started paintballing. I wore the hat backwards under my paintball mask and people behind me would call me Zenthane cause they could read it. Ever since i've been Zenthane, Zenth, Zen, ZenthaneX and Zenthanezombie. Just an interesting fact i've discovered recently is that Zenthane is actually an industrial paint used as the top coat on many american military vehicles.

Well there was a few more, guess we'll see if we have any more takers.
There was a thread some time ago where Jeep45238 thanked a veteran in a most appropriate manner. Search for it, and if the opportunity presents itself, go for it. You'll have to mine the archives for that gold nugget. I'll give a hint, it'll bring a tear to your eyes.

Coolest little electric R/C helicopter in the world sitting in front of me on my desk. The Blade mSR.

And, I had to make up another moniker because my original account was closed for some reason and I never received a response as to why.
