I'm glad to see we are able to discuss it in an adult manner. This forum rocks!!!

I think the time I waiting for is 18:30. I have my tooth brush and razor packed.

Ya know, it's fun to kid about this, but for those who believe the Bible is, if not the word of God, at least the inspired word of God, as I do, we know it's just a matter of time. I'm currently reading a book called Charting the End Times by Tim LaHaye. The book helps the reader to understand what the bible has said about the ratpture, the seven year tribulation period, Christ's thousand year reign and the end of history. I'm only read the first chapter so I have much to learn, but it is a fascinating topic, at least for me.

Melissa, and anyone else interested, I have a paper, written by John MacArthur, that discusses the Doctrine of Election, another challenging and controversial subject. If interested, I'd be happy to send a copy.

I do kinda feel sorry for the old guy. He must feel really down about now and perhaps a bit lonely.

For me the thing to take away from all this noise is to live each day as if there wasn't a tomorrow. Love harder and smile like everybody is your friend. No time for pettiness of aggravation in this life. I had a friend for many years who said "show 'em a shoot eating smile and make them wonder what ya been up to." He had a point, he did.

Here is my gun show purchase. Mossberg 500 12ga with an 18.5" barrel.

And just to add fuel to the fire, I'm as atheist as they come. I do not believe in any kind of God or higher being and don't want to. However, aside from that, it is impossible to tell me from any person who claims to be "religious". I don't care what you believe, don't have any preconceived bias towards anybody, and judge everybody on their actions towards ME. Anybody that treats me well is my friend. And that is the bottom line.

That is about as simple as it gets. I subscribe to that.

You might not believe in God, but he believes in you.

I'm glad the end was post poned. Today is the 16th anniversary of becoming a full fledged derelict. I figure a couple more years and I'll get my journeymen card and I'll be official.

Would have been a shame to be so close only to lose it all in the end.

If you make the grade Bawanna, your health will be restored.

I had my toothbrush and razor packed yesterday and had said my goodbyes. I mentioned my preparedness to a guy at church this morning and he said, "Bill, there's no dental plaque in heaven." Pretty funny I thought.

                            Dang it,

Now the old preacher has revised his doomsday prediction, and now he says the world will end on Oct 21,.........my birthday!
No worries, I went out and bought a new pistola yesterday, and am planning on another one by summers end. Looks like I've got plenty of time left to get in some range time before the walls come down,...

Your just gonna leave us hanging like that? You got a new pistola yesterday but your not gonna tell us what it is? Plus not enlighten us to the next one before summers end.

                              I'm gonna need medication!

Well, it's not a Kahr, but it's something I've wanted for some time now. I've looked, and looked, and fondled it at the gun shops , so I found one at the right price,...for me, and just did it. Haven't been shootin' yet, will post when I do. Anyway, here she is,...Ruger Vaquero, .45 long Colt.
