Here`s another question regarding a bank.I live in a suburb of Raleigh,N.C..Over the last decade or so ,banks have started opening mini-branches in grocery stores. At these stores there is no sign prohibiting the carrying of firearms. Now I know I can`t walk up to the teller`s window while I`m carrying but because there is a bank in the grocery store, does that make the entire store a gun free zone? The answers will have to come from the N.C.Department of Justice but I wanted to bring these questions to my friends attention so we all can be well informed. Our cc privilige is a delicate one and I don`t want mine to be destroyed by an anti-gun politician over a technicality. What do y`all think?

Just researched it. In Utah it is legal to conceal in a bank, public schools including State owned college campuses. If the bank post no guns and discovers you are packing the most you can be charged for is trespassing if you refuse to leave. Russ

In Michigan, I can go into any bank except THE Federal Reserve in Detroit.

Certainly a local issue. As a general rule here in Indiana a bank may post a sign indicating a no gun policy and ask you to leave. Only if you do not leave will you be subject to arrest for trespass. Some banks have gone so far as installing an airlock door system with metal detectors and refuse admittance to those who are carrying.
An armed society is a polite society.

Next thing you know the TSA will take over security for banks so they can fondle everyone there.

          In Colorado, no such law.
Only if armed guards and/or Metal detectors are we disallowed our protection.

I don't stand outside of businesses and read all the signs posted everywhere or I'd never get anything else done.

          I just go in.
Concealed means that, and no one is wiser.
I refuse to end up like Luby. NO ONE has the right to tell me I can't protect myself.
