Nice puppy, good teeth. I'm steering clear of the wife. Just call me skeered.

I gotta get the SigLites installed on my old P239/.40 S&W. For several years I missed out on the "deal" from Sig to do the full re-furb and install the SigLite sights for the unbelievable price of $130+/-.

I sent just the slide to Sig for $119.95 Siglight installation on my P239/357 about 6 months ago.
Seems like it took about two weeks to turn around and the sights are absolutely perfect (gun shoots like a laser).

As for missing out - Yup, Yup you're not getting that 130 price again - LOL!

Yeah, they will install the sights for that price, but for the $130, if you're "in the loop", Sig will completely disassemble the handgun, thoroughly clean, replace any pins that show wear, replace all springs, AND install the night sights. That's the deal I've been missing

You better send it off Mr. Surveyor or you'll be saying you missed it again down the road. Get that bad boy in the mail for a makeover and siglites.

Tell Mrs. Surveyor I said it was ok. Better yet, tell her Jocko said it was ok. Safer for me that way.

I did that deal on my 14 year old nickel plated P220 last year. The pistol came back looking and shooting like a brand new gun. Unfortunately, it was stolen a month later, but I got back last month none the worse for wear.

I keep whatever my street carry of the day was/is (depends on whether or not I rotated yet). Then I have the short 18 1/2" Charles Daly field gun in the closet with an empty chamber. Closet also houses the ammo for the real long guns, and all the pistols which stay loaded, as well as the Katana. I have my drawer full of sharp objects under the bed in a drawer. The wife has a CW45, and between us there is the spoiled goober dog. Add to the fact that we live in a second floor apartment, and we sleep well enough when we get to sleep.
Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

The olive branch is considered a symbol of peace, and good will. Last time I checked, it's still a switch.

On my nightstand every night is a Tervis Tumbler full of unsweet decaf ice
tea and ice. Also, my bible.....which as of late is my iPad2, and the
current month's version of Tabletalk magazine as well the current
American Rifleman usually. I also have a 4Sevens Quark123 Turbo set on
the "Moonlight" setting, which is about .2 lumens. This is incredibly useful
if you have to get up from sleep and check something out with the light.
.2 lumens won't kill your night vision but is still plenty bright.

In the top drawer is a Stack-on electronic pistol safe (I have kids in the
house) that I unlock before hitting the sack. In the safe is whatever I'm
carrying that week (usually my PM9) Also permanently in there is my
                          G19 plus 2 extra G17 mags all stuffed with Ranger-T 127gr +P+. This is
my SHTF pistol because I can easily stuff the mags in my pocket and the
G19 "mexican" if necessary and run out of the house with 50 rds of ammo
                          in a heartbeat.

I can clear the house without losing my night vision with the "moonlight"
                          mode Quark.

Highly recommend the 4Seven's lights. Absolutely love them. My wife
has the identical light on her nightstand.

Oh and of course probably my single most important piece of safety
gear.......my female Jack Russell "Baby". She gives me PLENTY warning
when something's not right in the house.

                          M-

I only have a couple Glock21s with HSTs in them.

                              I did have a G17, G19, G26 and Kahr PM9, but....moved them.
CISSP, CISA, CRISC, ISSO with lots of experience looking for a IT Security Manager spot. I prefer working for friend or friends of friend. Preferably in a red state with good gun laws.
