LOL that's what I always tell my friends.
CC here it is a weapon permit.
And anything you can legally own, and conceal, you can carry.

I can carry a samurai sword and a pistol grip 12 gauge if I want!

I've been in Tampa since I escaped communist California in 1986.
Was back briefly for fires, floods, riots, earthquakes and martial law.
        Then I came back.

              • Gerber Fast Draw 3" blade with Glock26. Spring assist opening with the thumb knob makes for a very quick & easy presentation. Best $25 pocket knife I've owned.

Rocking this again. I love the color combo with the knife and CM9

                    • Up to a couple of months ago, this was my EDC combo. Now most of the time instead of the TP-9, I carry a 200DS Chiappa Rhino along with these two knives. I still carry the TP but it depends on what I'm wearing (shorts, tee-shirt and short sleeve cover shirt), generally just stick it in the waist band, no holster.

                      • I try not to leave the house without my Gerber F.A.S.T. Draw... 3" spring-assisted blade... the half-serrated version. It's a backup to my CCW and a valuable tool. It cost me $30 at Walmart and now they're up to about $32, but very solidly built.

I usually keep the F.A.S.T. Draw clipped in the top of my left pocket in case my right hand is busy... as in warding off an attacker or holding my pistol and grappling with an assailant.

I also have the F.A.S.T. Covert model with the 3.7" blade and a heftier grip, but I can feel that I'm carrying it... it feels huge, but more of a fighting knife... and inexpensive... relatively... under $40 on sale at the BX with 15% off and no tax, one time.

if you are a righty(which it looks like) then you are correct carrying the knife on your support side for the reasons you mentioned.

                              • I carry a Buck 3" light weight stainless lockback folder. One hand opening, pocket clip, polymer handle. Inexpensive and gets the job done.
