I think he's referring to how confusing all this has gotten.

I carried a Bauer .25 religiously as my never leave home/work without a gun gun back in the mid/late 70's. Had a light custom IWB rough out holster I made for it. It was the most convenient, unobtrusive arm I've ever carried. Unfortunately, it was also just a .25 and I could never get it past about 95% max reliability. So when better came along, I moved on. Nonetheless, I sold it about 12 years ago and have regretted that ever since. I should have just parked it in my home office memorabilia collection that includes such things as a Post Versalog bamboo slide rule, a 1950s Arvin Radio, a circa 1971 4-function, LED calculator, etc.

Yea, I'll never get rid of it. It's not worth much anyway. I am thinking about replacing sone of the parts though.

The Baby Browning was always too tiny for my hand. The Walther TPH became my favorite .25acp. Well made and quite accurate.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

Recently purchased a Beretta 950bs 25 acp. It is in very good shape, does not appear to have been carried or shot much at all.

At the range I fired a total of 18 rounds of fmj through it with zero malfunctions and it was suprisingly accurate.

The only problem was that tiny little hammer kept biting the web of my hand.

This is not a carry piece; just had to have it because the price was right and it's condition was very good.

I would like to see it. Also the Bauer can really eat your hand up if your not very careful about how you hold it.

I think the 950bs has the safety added. The 950 b had no safety if I'm not mistaken this was a late 60's change. 68 or 69. Really cool little pistol.

                          Yes mine has the safety.

It really feels good in the hand. Didn't think a pistol that small could feel right.

I had a baby Browning years ago. Never carried it and it never fed right. It got traded away to a collector. Later I had a Bauer copy which was 100% reliable but was the most inaccurate gun I have ever shot (and that's allowing for it's small size!) I traded it to my brother for something or other which was so unremarkable I can't even remember it. I wish I had it back now! There was one in the local gun store a couple of months ago for $295 but I decided that was too much.

Personally I think you made a good decision I like my Bauer but not 300 bucks worth.

I very much agree. My 950 Minx, .22 short, purchased new around '76 is one of a half dozen or less of my never sell under any circumstances guns. A fantastic short range, casual plinker. Also got to use it just last year to pick off an especially aggressive squirrel that insisted on running into the garage to chew through the dog food bin every time I turned my back on it.

I also had a .25 Jetfire version, but eventually gave it to my sister for a purse gun when I gave up on .25s If I hadn't had the Minx, I would have kept it.
