Put 100 rounds through it today of cheap Tulammo steel case and it functioned perfectly. I don't like the trigger but that more has to do with the fact I compare it to my 27, 23, and 22. I think I am going to hold off on sending it back at this point and just abuse it for awhile. I had it strapped on while walking out to check trail cams tonight in the pouring rain and it didn't bother me since it's not perfect. It actually seems like a decent farm gun for what I paid. I had bee looking at a SCCY for a beater but I like this G19 way more than any SCCY I have ever picked up and it was cheaper also.

I did check into shipping through UPS and it was going to be right at $50 to overnight it to Glock if I choose to go that way.

If you have to ship, find an FFL that'll do it for you. and cozy up to them. They can ship USPS, 5.99 for the box that'll hold pretty much any handgun. Add insurance, signing for a few bucks, you are less than $15 for shipping and slide them a $20, most will do it. Going back to the manufacturer or to a gunsmith doesn't require them to do any paperwork, but their FFL lets them ship USPS.

I did not realize that but thanks for the tip. If I decide to send it back at some point I will try to get the local shop to ship it for me.

I think they were just saying it was a butt ugly handgun...... I won't necessarily disagree but I sure have no problems shooting them.

Glocks are the handgun equivalent of real AKs and SKSs. Not all that pretty but work really well, dead stone reliable, don't break the bank, and just get the job done.

My friend wanted in on that price so we went in and picked one out for him this afternoon but while we were there another guy cam in and bought three of them. There aren't to many left now lol,

I've got a gen 3 G27 myself.
And really like the NY1 with a Glock OEM '-' connector.
You can change the connector yourself with a butter knife and a punch in about three minutes.
There are lots of videos on youtube.

I'd go with a "-" connector or replace the NY1 with a stock spring.
Replace the RSA.
Clean, lube and shoot.

I already completely stripped the gun and cleaned it and I ordered new springs and a 3.5 lb connector. It will only take a few minutes to change them out when they finally get here. I swear a Glock is about as easy as it gets to disassemble a handgun.
