here's a pair of my favorite old school guns, S&W CS9, black or stainless. I like reading about guys who found a perfect one and paid $350 for it, gives me hope. I've never seen one, but always looking. to heavy to carry, but what a gun to take to the range.

I have a CS45 and at 23.9 ozs, I don't think it's heavy at all. Of my eleven 45's, it falls third in weight behind the CM45 and CW45. It's not a pretty gun, but is very accurate for a 3.25 barrel and is dead reliable. I carry mine occasionally because I know I can depend on it. I picked it up new about four years ago for $600 because I'm quite fond of the 3rd gen all metal S&W semi's.

I've often thought of the CS45 as the Kahr K45 that'll never happen (except for the trigger of course). I actually bought the $12 airsoft plastic CS45 just to see how it fit my hand, but the grip didn't really feel right.

Yeah, the grip's a little chunky and doesn't fit everyone. It's not as bad as a Glock though, which I can't shoot at all. I prefer a spur hammer, but the stub one is safer if you have one in the chamber. Also the safety is backwards from all my other guns. I still like it though and shoot it pretty well.

I also have a 457S which is bigger and heavier but has a more conventional grip. It too, has the stub hammer and backward safety.

Don't have a P3AT, but I've a P32 that I carry frequently. I've put thousands of rounds through it over the last seven years and it's never missed a beat. My only complaint was that it required some "Kentucky windage" for smaller targets. Awhile back, I picked up a complete top end for it on eBay and was delighted to find that it shoots just about point of aim with that combo installed (reliability has been the same through about 400 rounds).

I had a P32 back kwhgen, and it was more trouble than my first wife. I got rid of them both. Just sayin..

My P32 shoots real well, but did trade the obnoxious P3AT towards my CW45.

Still got my 1st & only wife though.

Say - just noticed the frame & slide steps on mine line up differently than gb's.

it's funny how this gun business goes- start big, work toward small or start small and work toward a Desert Eagle. hey, as long as we're having fun. Gun Genie has 40 or 50 P32's for sale, magazines too. my P32 came to the FFL yesterday, it's going to the range Monday morning. I can tell already this "gun" is only going to help me if I can remember which pocket it's in.
