I took a little break from my blistering music career (yeah right) and brought a couple home recently. These are/were inexpensive and spontaneous purchases...my favorite kind:

SW model 22a. The seven inch barrel version. I’ll probably drill and tap the rail soon so I can eliminate the red dot spacer and co-witness with the target sights.

...and here’s the other. A Mossberg 640kd Chuckster. 22 magnum. Both of these should make for great back yard fun. I also bought a Marlin 22magnum bolt rifle but that goes to the nephew soon.

Just put a 3" Ruger SP101 in .327 Federal on layaway at GrabAgun for a purchase price of $509. 'Tis a 6 shooter as opposed to the standard 5 shot .357 SP101.

Will pick it up at the dealer in Coppell (near Dallas) when we are visiting wife's relatives after New Year's Day. That'll save the $8 shipping and $25 FFL fee.

Thats a sweet Mossberg. I have a few but not that one. Must be clip fed?

It’s got a little magazine. You can’t see it in the picture. It’s clamped in the vise so I can get a pic without the rifle falling over.

Hi all new guy here. I got a CM45 picked it up the day after thanksgiving. it came with the 5 shot mag I got 2 7 round mags. things are getting weird enough that I might need to reload at some point.
I had to modify the mags so I don't have issues like jams dropping mags and such. now 1 up the pipe 6 in the short mag and 8 in each of the other 2.
got a 10/22 stock for $39 the wood one walked away about 11 years back. 3 hidden compartments and 3 rails and a vertical grip I have no idea what to do with. is was priced way higher but I got a black Friday deal $39.
good hunting on things that go bang.

I've been trying to steer more toward "investing" than accumulating or collecting. I try to find guns that will hold or increase in value, like good S&W revolvers. Seems most everything else is headed down in value right now, with the supply glut and softening of demand. OTOH, if you price your sales right on Gunbroker, everything is selling now. I used to not be able to sell water in the desert on there, and I just sold five guns in the last two weeks, to cull the herd.

Zastava M77 PS .308

Just received my spanking new Zastava M77 PS AK today!
These things are relatively hard to get these days.
So I'm very happy to land one
It's the semi-automatic version of their M77 B1 battle rifle.
Unfortunately they added a horrific thumb hole stock and capped the threaded barrel.
I'm having the stock removed and replaced with a folding one along with adding a muzzle brake.
Now for the good news.
It has a three setting adjustable gas system.
And is factory chambered in the All American .308 Winchester - Woo Hoo!
In a few days it should look something like this -

Finished the break in on my CZ 2075 RAMI BD tonight with 3 (50 round) boxes of Federal HST 147 gr hollow points.

Used a B-29 target at 10 yds. Lots of double taps, and a few rapid fire mag dumps.

Good enough for social work. Into the carry rotation it goes...

I just minutes ago snared a Mossberg 152 rifle, should be here hopefully in a week or so. I'll snap some pics when it gets here.
Little semi auto version of the one my son beat me to at the gun show awhile back. Hope it's half as good as the last one I got.
Fun and a tack driver too.
