  • K40 Covert. First one I'd ever seen.

    Comment

    • Now that's interesting.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I've never seen one in the flesh.
        Very Nice! Congratulations!

I've said it more times than I can count.

          Very nice find!
Here's some info from Kahr circa 1999-2000:

          Go to http://archive.org/web/
          then enter "www.kahr.com",
then click on the "1999" box,
then the blue highlighted "April 23"
the next page will have a purple "Kahr Arms" at the top, click on that,
select "Product reviews" from the column on the left side of the next page to read some reviews on the K40 Covert

          Regards,
          Greg

              • Been eyeballing the Rami, kind of between it and a PCR.

Is that mag release set up for a lefty. Interchangeable? I'm righty so don't really matter but always thought it was nice to be interchangeable for the 6% of the people who aren't.

                • It's set up for a righty, but it sure looks interchangeable to me. Slots on both sides of the mags too.

CZ certainly didn't spare the grease....

                  • I added a RM380 recently. My brother bought one last summer to (thankfully) replace his NAA mini revolver as an EDC. The rebate got me too. I paid $270 out the door and will (theoretically) get a franklin back... some day.
In the meanwhile I picked up a couple of pair of VZ grips (his and mine) and the Galloway precision spring sets and parts.
I don't think the little guy will replace the S&W 642/P380 duo that currently trade time as my own EDC, but the wife can rack the RM380 way easier than my Kahr and that already helps it may find favor with her.
I'll be picking up a Nemeses pocket holster and a Mag packer this week from Midway. Once its all here, assembled and ready for carry I will have exactly $288.12 into the set. I'm looking forward to throwing a bunch of rounds through it with my brother and his stock gun to verify any improvements.

                    Peace
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
                    "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
                    "more stuff than you are"

                      • That's definitely my style. I love a good single action revolver. It is pretty.

Doh, I've been trying to resist thst one and now look what you did.

Thats a beauty. Hows the grip feel and is it 2 fingers only?

                          • Definitely 2 fingers with the 10 round mag. I'm reading that you can modify a Pierce pinkie extension for the Springfield XD to make it a full 3 fingers though. Have to try that...

However, it also comes with a 14 round mag, and that's an easy 3 finger grip.

With the 10 round mag, it feels a lot like my MK9 with the wood grips in my hand. Just feels right.

                            • Just put a 3" Ruger SP101 in .327 Federal on layaway at GrabAgun for a purchase price of $509. 'Tis a 6 shooter as opposed to the standard 5 shot .357 SP101.

Will pick it up at the dealer in Coppell (near Dallas) when we are visiting wife's relatives after New Year's Day. That'll save the $8 shipping and $25 FFL fee.

                              • This week I have purchased a Desert Eagle 1911C (Commander). It has full guide rode, bull barrel, 8 round magazine, G10 grips, 3 dot sights, 4 pounds crisp trigger.
