Thats what I was thinking too.The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Very nice..............the wood inserts they use these days are nice also. If you ever feel the need for a change, Chig's makes some reasonable grip inserts.Originally posted by Armybrat View PostPicked up my new Sp101 in .327 Federal at Grabagun near Dallas yesterday. A no dash Model 63 Smith 4 inch in excellent condition. Owned an M34 a couple/three decades back that I've long regretted selling. Spotted this M63 at my LGS two weeks ago. Made the mistake of handling it. Put it down and walked away. Went back today hopin' they'd sold it. No such luck. So....
A what added summary since Dec 31st:
-- the above noted .22 Kit gun
-- M1 Carbine. Excellent as issued condition verified 1942/43 production Inland. Stumbled across and bought as present for Korean War vet BIL/Cousin's upcoming 85th birthday.
-- Ruger New Vaquero Montado in .357. Semi-intended purchase.
-- Ruger New Vaquero Birdshead grip in .45 ACP. Intended purchase
-- Ruger New Bearcat Shopkeeper in 3" stainless. Accidental, wow I really like this buy.

There's a used T9 that no one's bid on for two relistings. I hesitated to name the gun in case someone snatched it out from under me, but if they do it's for the better.Originally posted by Bawanna View PostA home is just a home, something from Gunbroker could be a treasure. I've also been considering a Ruger American Rifle in 7.62x39.

Hmm, I'm not seeing any used ones and can't afford half the price of the cheapest new on listed.
Hopefully you already bought it so I don't need to think about it anymore. I do be wanting a T9 is the worst way. Would love a T45 better but that's the stuff dreams are made of.
My son much wealthier than I bought an FN SCAR brand new yesterday. Not certain but probably in the 2500 dollar range. Sure looks nice, haven't seen it in person yet but expect I will soon. He needs to help me pack out a big freezer that went kaput. Probably why he's much wealthier than I.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

Can't speak to the American Rifle but I've owned a Mini 30 Ranch for many years. 7.62x39, using quality ammunition in a quality arm, is a personal long time favorite. And with history is one of the reasons I don't own 5.56 anything.Originally posted by JohnR View Post.......I've also been considering a Ruger American Rifle in 7.62x39.NRA Benefactor

If I had 600 or even close I'd take you up on that offer fast, but alas I have to sit and watch.
Someday my T9 will come in along with that canoe full of loot.
If it helps any, I've nearly completed a kitchen remodel so I guess that's an excuse lame as it might be.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!
