If each of us could sway just one liberal the conservatives would win every election. Inside of every liberal there is a compassionate conservative trying to get out.

Ok, now we've been at converting process for awhile, most of us. I would suspect anyway. I've always tried to show my liberal friends the light, but usually to no avail. So... how many liberals, HAVE you been able to convert? I would count one. I may have influenced a vote or two, but I mean to really change a person's political party from D to R.

I have one Dixiecrat friend that I may have converted. He hates what the dems are doing to the country. He sure hates Obama, and he enjoys shooting a lot. I let him know how hard the Democrats are working to take our guns, and that get's him leaning Republican in a hurry. I think I can claim him.
He said he really never gave it any thought, until I brought it up, but he doesn't have a thing in common with the new Democrat party. It's just something he did out of habit. Vote for the guy with the D by his name.

You might want to start with Republicans and convince them to become conservatives so that they do not nominate RINOs before you try to work on others.

I wouldn't bother to try to convert the RINOs. I'd just vote the bastards out of office. Everyone of them has to run in a primary. Support the conservative who is running against them. We don't have to convince every liberal. We only have to convince the so called independents who are sitting on the fence. I can't stand people who have a "what's-the-use" attitude. We are a "can-do" nation. I'm not giving up on the country that I love.

Trouble is the republicans nominate the rinos for public office then castigate me for not voting for their rino candidate. IE President Bush, McCain, Romney to name just a few.

Until someone convinces the republicans to stop nominating RINOS it wont matter all that much which one is elected.
