Get so tired of this "deserve" crap.

If you are trying to raise a family on a minimum wage job, you suck as a financial planner and a parent.

Started at minimum wage myself when I was 18, didn't take long to move up the chain. School, professional training, experiance, and drive helped along the way. Didn't start a family until I was 26 and well established, I always thought it was the least I could do as a man - to not allow my children to grow up in poverty.

There were setbacks along the way, but nothing hard work and determination couldn't handle.

No truer words than these. ^^^ I waited even longer. I wanted to be established and I wanted to get everything I wanted before marriage after which the challenge would be to keep it all. I've done ok.

Me too...but as they say "stuff happens" and sometimes we are using an ancillary brain instead of our thinking and planning brain. It's not always in the plan folks . Love and the pleasures that go with it are a powerful blindness. Some folks need help to get them on their feet. All jobs are not created equal. The work ethic of today sucks because we have an enabling society. The young generations are learning that they will be subsidized for doing nothing, rather than work hard, get a good education that you can apply in your work, work smart, plan wisely....but work damn it. The government teaches them, we'll let the tax payers take care of you and the debt ceiling rise if necessary. That's not how to run a home, business or country.

Great youtube. But that speech was from 1973 and uploaded in 2007. Unfortunately, I don't recognize that country anymore!
Now, we have Obammer and I HATE what is happening to the America I love!

After thinking about it a while I will agree the USA is in serious trouble...The world no longer respects or fears America and it's all due to that imposter lying Socialist Muslim POS they have voted into office, I say they not we because there's still some of us right thinking people around that had the forsight and knowledge and understood what he was going to do to our once great Country and we voted the right way....

I am so sad to see the division he is causing and the financial devastation he is leaving for our children to bear in their future if there is one....I have never hated a President before but I can't stand to look at or listen to anything he has to say....The man is a self serving lying tyrant who will gladly destroy America to get his way

If the 2014 elections go bad for Republican Conservatives and the Libocrats take back the House then I'm afraid we are going to be in a flat spin death spiral the Country can't pull out of and if in 2016 Hillary gets elected then it's over for sure...

I will leave the Gordon Sinclar link up because it's a feel good story about how America use to be in the mid 70's but since then I'm afraid too many have consumed too much poison kool aid and have killed the golden goose....
