You want to turn em into glass but you want to imprison one of our soldiers for smoking a couple of them on a scooter passing information to their troops.

The issue is telling which one's are extremist which to me is all of them. They dress the same, they probably smell the same, they walk the same.

Just like Nam, that is why our guys are getting killed while their guys are planting IED's and learning to fly jumbo jets into buildings.

Yep, a good heavy radiation treatment or three should get the message across....Unfortunately our Resident in the White House doesn't have the stones to do anything but negotiate with Muslims and they laugh at his naivety and ignorance....

I think it will be interesting to see what Putin does to those Chechin peace loving Islamic terrorists who are trying to mess up his Olympics with suicide bombs....He uses words like annihilate and scrape off the bottom of the sewer when dealing with Muslims which I'm all for....I feel sorry for Doky Umarov the Chechin terrorist leader when Vlad Putin the Impaler catches up with him....Even though Putin is a Commie at heart I like how he gets things done......

Meanwhile the Russians are laughing their arses off at us and our stupid rules of engagement, and trying to accomplish something from halfway around the world, when they couldn't do it sharing a border with them. I'll bet no Russian was imprisoned for shooting ANY Afghani. We (our media, and politicians, well out of harms way) are our own worst enemy sometimes. Easy to dictate how troops should behave when you aren't the ones seeing your buddies gunned down or taken out by IED's. As soon as we pull out, things will go back to the way before we stuck our noses in, and you'll never know we were there, except for maybe some bomb or artillery shell craters.

He's one of them anyhow. He sits in the seat of our leader but he's on their team. Talk about a lose lose situation.

            Why can't people see that.

On the internet him and Hilldog, what difference does it make most respected man and woman in the world. Oh crap,,,, yup, threw up a little bit in my mouth.

I got a letter from Peloski in the mail ranting about the Tea Party and wanting me to help her support Ocrapforbrains efforts to strengthen Social Security or some damn thing.

I put a big felt pen x across it added a note to fornicate and die and mailed it back. If you hear of me being in a fatal plane crash (I don't fly) or a fatality car collision, you all know what happened.

Ya'll think our ROE's suck? Talk to the Brits who have been there, they WISH they had our ROE's. I really felt bad for them due to their ROE's. Pretty much the same with any of the EU countries I worked with.

At least we could defend ourselves. Believe it or not, some of them couldn't.

That said, I DO understand and appreciate your conclusion Muggsy. For me, I can't pass any judgment on this soldier. Perhaps he is getting what he has coming to him. Perhaps he felt he was doing his job properly. We have no way of really knowing for sure. JMO.
I guess we just have to trust that our military leaders who judged him at his court martial got it right. None of us was there to say one way or the other. If he was misjudged there is always room for an appeal. It ain't over until it's over.

Hope you are right about the appeal. But while I have faith in the military as a whole, I have little in the leadership. I'll just point that 'trust in our military leaders' to folks like Colin Powell. Enough said. That man has proved he's a political machine w/ barely enough brains to blow his nose. If that's what our military leadership has to offer, I'll pass on a second helping.

If you'd like another. James Clapper comes to mind. I'm sure with little effort and some quick Google searches I can come up with more.
