Lets see, I have all kinds of buttons here that do all kinds of different stuff. I've been making popcorn cause I didn't want folks to think I'd use my button powers to display my disagreement with the Ostriches.
At least when the world blows up they'll still have pretty faces buried in the sand, only their arses will be blown off.

Frankly I am not surprised so many tin foil hatters believe this tripe. The ostriches are the buffoons who believe this stupidity. Those that post and or believe this horsecrap lack the guts to go to Newtown and say it to the families faces. Geesh. True American Patriots wonder why we are in such a tizzy, it is easy too many conspiracy wackos are breathing!!!
The folks beating this drum are part and parcel of the problem and need to cease and desist.Wake Up...Grow Up...Show Up...Sit Up...Shut Up...Listen Up

His questions are valid by any investigator's point of view.
There are questions unanswered, no doubt. What's puzzling is that certain authorities seem to not want to address them, so that makes this absurd to you?
I didn't read anywhere that anyone believes those kids did NOT die. So Talking to the families isn't relevant to the article's accusation of withholding information from the public.
I am not sure by reading the story, how this offend you or anyone else here. Last I checked All Americans can state their point of view, but attempts are being made to change that, luckily the FCC has backed off of the latest example of Federal agencies, abuse of power.

(This is in response to some posts a few post back. A couple snuck in while I was writing this)
I doubt that I am held in very high regard by anyone. I sure seem to be able to be able to upset people. I don't doubt that there are a few that would like for me to leave the site.
I do post some controversial things, events that I and many others see as injustices being performed in the name Law Enforcement. It's just my way of protesting and calling attention to some of the things that happen, and could happen to one of us if we say the wrong thing, or are too slow in following directions. I have a feeling for what is fair and just, and what isn't. It's not radical, some say it's a little too liberal, but that's just the way I am. My faith also provides some input into what I post.
LZ how about lightening up some? This thread may not be informative, but people seem to enjoy posting their comments. And speculating on what might have happened. We have a lot of other threads that are not informative, places where people tell jokes and funny stories, or mention things going on in their life that they wish to share.
I don't know why you feel that it's your job to defend all questionable Police activity, aren't there other LEO's on the Forum that should help bear that burden? I just hate to see you be the only one that defends these charges of Police misconduct. Muggsy helps out the best he can, but he is not a LEO. Sometimes it makes it seem like we are picking on you. And I don't think we mean to do that.
I imagine if any local Newtown CT officers are covering up anything, it's due to pressure from Washington or at least higher ranking non-LEO authorities.
Things like this are always going to generate conspiracy theories. There are still plenty of conspiracies regarding JFK's assassination.
I think in this case, there are so many strange aspects to it, that it leaves itself wide open for the conspiracy buffs to make up theories. Then the fact that so many anti-gun folks latched on to the tragedy to press for more gun control, on the very next day, may cause some people to question what actually happened. Was it a False Flag operation to garner support for gun control? If so it failed miserably except in CT and NY.
I do question many of the things that go on under this administration. A man that would bomb a café full of innocent people to take out one or two terrorists, run guns to Mexican Drug Cartels (to gather support for gun control), and supports the Syrian rebels who have committed many atrocities against Christians including sawing the limbs off a little girl while she was still alive, and hacking off the heads of others with a Buck Knife or equivalent to kill them, and leave 4 men to die in Benghazi, and take off on a campaign trip the next morning, seems capable of ordering or giving the OK to have something like Sandy Hook done without batting an eye, in order to further his agenda. That sure leaves me feeling disgusted with the man, if he OK'd it.Tom

Yes downtown they do. But in a much smaller proportion than nuts in your chosen profession. It reality there are no "real" questions being asked by folks who have even a shred of credibility. The folks asking the questions have KNOWN track records of attempting to gain attention, conspiracy theorists etc
The shooter is known by name. What he did is known to have happened. To me their is no question about what happened. In every situation there are things that do not always make sense, that is normal. Discontinuities and anomalies occur.
Everybody who thinks local law enforcement takes there marching orders from DC is simply a paranoid/delusional personality type who really needs serious mental health intervention. Pressure from DC are the precise words of a tin foil hatter who really has no credibility or serious though to add to an issue. It would be helpful to discuss one issue per thread. Unfortunately many folks on internet boards lack the cohesive intellectual ability to keep threads on track.Wake Up...Grow Up...Show Up...Sit Up...Shut Up...Listen Up

Yes we have the shooter's name. As for the rest of your statement, how do you know? Were you there? Did you see the incident happen? That would be the only way one could be absolutely sure it happened as described.Originally posted by Longitude Zero View PostThe shooter is known by name. What he did is known to have happened. I assume you're going by same info the rest of us have, unless you have some info from your secret police only sites.
And no I don't think locals get their marching orders from DC. Although they do seem to try and influence policy, such as with illegal aliens and such. The reason I drug the President into it, was how quickly he started issuing statements on the incident, and calling for more gun-control, even before the official investigation was complete, or possible before it had even started.
Conspiracy theories have their role. Maybe the biggest one yet is about to play out, when and if congress finally allows testimony from Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse about Obama's Forged Birth Certificate, and use of an SSN that once belonged to a Russian immigrant that died without any relatives. Supposedly next month there is going to be some announcement on this. One would think that all they would have to do is send some multimedia packets to various news outlets and the matter would come to a head. Only problem is most of the media is left wing and would refuse to report it.
I think a worse problem than the conspiracy theorists, are those that believe everything this administration says, or that they hear on the news without question, I can't blame anyone for doubting anything Obama says. I'm glad that some people dig a little deeper into these things.
Some times yesterday's conspiracy theory are todays fact.
Like the one that the CIA secretly shipped prisoners overseas so they could be tortured. The CIA later admitted this did happen.
The Iran-Contra affair was a conspiracy theory, until congress investigated it.
That may be off thread, but are examples of why you should not just routinely dismiss conspiracy theories as garbage. Now some are completely whacko and should be dismissed, others may not be. One that I am keeping an eye on, is the accusation that Andrew Brietbart was ordered to be killed. He was a big thorn in Obama's backside, and could very well have been a target. That one has a motive, and an alleged ex CIA agent testifying to it. Maybe garbage, maybe not. Waiting to see what else pops up.Tom

Just because one questions authority doesn't make them a conspiracy theorist.
When things don't add up there's usually a reason for that.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

Rahm Emmanuel is famously quoted as saying you should never let a good crisis go to waste. That's they're standard operating procedure up there, not necessarily the hallmark of a conspiracy.Originally posted by TheTman View PostThe reason I drug the President into it, was how quickly he started issuing statements on the incident, and calling for more gun-control, even before the official investigation was complete, or possible before it had even started.
Oy Vey! I wish this would go away too. Let's say for a moment we could conclusively prove that Obama is not a "naturally born citizen" as required by the Constitution. Who is going to remove him? Chief Roberts won't even strike down the clearly unconstitutional Obamacare. Think he'll vote to remove a sitting president? Think Harry Reid will vote for impeachment? And, even if the Republicans controlled the Senate, I guarantee they don't have the balls to pull the trigger. No way, no how.Originally posted by TheTman View PostConspiracy theories have their role. Listen, Obama loves it when people bring up the birth certificate thing. He'd rather talk about anything other than Obamacare, Fast and Furious, the NSA, etc., etc.

You nailed it right there.Originally posted by LT Drebin View PostListen, Obama loves it when people bring up the birth certificate thing. He'd rather talk about anything other than Obamacare, Fast and Furious, the NSA, etc., etc.
But even though he's useless as a president it's not his fault though. Someone else is to blame.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

It's very normal for people to seek order, but unfortunately we live in a disorderly world. Reality can be harsh and for some it's easier to live in a fantasy world. I think that the people who believe in these conspiracy theories may be just a bit paranoid. I don't see a bogie man behind every tree. The gentleman who started this conspiracy theory was an uninvited guest. I see nothing unusual in the people of Sandy Hook asking him to leave. The people of Sandy Hook deserve closure and peace in their hours of grief. He is stirring the pot. I consider people like him to be among the lowest of the low. An the people who are enraptured by his rhetoric, only a cut above.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.
