When I hear talk of sitting out an election I hear the conversation of a fool. Do you people realize how many men gave their lives to ensure you the right to cast a ballot. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. If your not a part of the solution you're a part of the problem. Someone would have to put a bullet in my head to stop me from voting.

I never missed an election. Ever. But Jeb would be a typical Republican maneuver, not putting up the best candidate, and destined to lose.

If Jeb cares at all about America he won't run and throw away our chances of winning. There are enough other good people that could do better for us.

Totally agree. I would hate to have to vote for Jeb, but Hitlery? Oh, my. Or any other Democrap for that matter. Hell, I even forced myself to vote for McCain. It hurt but I WILL vote. If nothing else it gives me the right to complain afterward.

Everybody's entitled to their opinion. I don't consider it foolish to pass on voting for either of two progressive candidates. I suppose out of respect for those that have fought for my freedom in the past, I could get off the couch and go write someone in that's worth a crap. But, that's kinda pointless any way you look at it. So, you can play the 'those who died' argument all you want. If I write in, my vote doesn't matter. If I vote for one of two progressives, my vote doesn't matter.

Let me ask you this. If our forefathers that FOUGHT for OUR freedom knew you voted for a Romney or McCain...what would they say? What would they think of you?

Nah, I'd rather those great men and women know that I'm ready to belly up to fight, and that I'm standing for the same principles that they did. If you vote for a progressive establishment RINO you are crapping on the memory of those that have fought just as much as you are attempting to make it sound for those of us that are not willing to vote foolishly.

I'm more concerned about God's opinion. I'm more concerned about what's right. Both are a higher power to even the Constitution and I shall no longer deviate from those principles.

Last thought. If voting is so important regardless of the two candidates. Maybe I should just vote democrat this fall and in 2016. I mean, not voting is disrespectful, so I'll just switch sides, then I'm showing respect? No?

Why take another breath... you're gonna die anyhow... sooner or later. What difference does it make?

I will always vote against the people who would do us and our freedoms the greatest harm.

There was only one "perfect man" in most people's eyes and thoughts... and he died on a wooden cross several thousand years ago. If you're waiting for the "perfect" candidate... that ain't happening in politics.

The Dems/Libs/Socialists have nearly half the population voting for stuff taken from the workers and taxpayers... the productive people of this country. They will elect the next president to get more of the same.

There IS a war... or several wars going on. One is against western religions and the other is against our so-called freedoms. By not voting against the politicians who want to continue with the march toward a total "nanny state", you're still "voting" for more of the same. All of those bought voters don't mind giving more power to the federal government for more "security" and free stuff... all taken by force from the producers.

But you've got your "principles". That will do you a lot of good when the DHS armored vehicles pull up to take your weapons, ammo, food, and anything else they want to redistribute.

After the primaries... if the opponent to the Democrats is a RINO, then I'll vote for him or her. At least I shall have done what I could to prevent another POS from the far left from taking away the rest of our freedoms.

You think voting for that gun grabbing RINO is going to help you when those DHS armored vehicles come down the street?

You think those gun grabbing RINOS will hesitate to send those vehicles down the street?

YOU voted for a man who supported the Brady Bill and a ban on certain types of "assault weapons". I didn't!

YOU voted for a man who wont chip away at what he called tough gun laws. I didn't!

“Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts,” Romney said at the July 1, 2004, signing ceremony. “These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”

Those are not the words of a second amendment supporter. YOU voted for him, I didn't.

Continue to vote for those RINOS working against what you claim to support. I am done with doing so. The man does not have to have all of the same beliefs that I do but when it comes to the second amendment I draw the line.

Glad to see you back there tv racin fan, thought the wolves ate ya....HOPEFULLY the Republican party has enough sense to pull back from Jeb Bush and Chris Cristie because running either one of those guys will automatically hand the election to Hill & Bill.......In another election in the future Jeb might be the guy even with his stand on immigration but NOT this time with the libs still blaming GW for all of Ovomits problems and failures...

If the Republicans nominate either Bush or Christie in 2016 I will have to figure the elections are fixed which in reality, most likely are.....

                              wyntrout,

I agree w/ you to a point, but I just can't/won't do it anymore. Sorry if that burns you.

I'm not looking for the perfect candidate, who said I was? Just looking for one that isn't a democrat or progressive in RNC clothing by my few points of measurement. Tax Code Reform, Anti Abortion, Border Security and a tough stance on Illegal Immigration, and above all Adherence to the Constitution. While I'd personally like to see 90% of the government disbanded, I know I'm not gonna get that. That would be my perfect candidate. But I'm sticking to my guns on the list above. Those are my hard rules. Jeb, Christie, Rubio, Ryan none pass those tests. So I will not vote for them. Rand comes closer. I'd vote for him. Cruz comes closest of all and he for some reason grates my last nerve, just something about him. But I'd vote for him. There are a few others. Palin. Mike Lee. Santorum (not gonna happen). Jindal, maybe.

I used to buy into the whole idea a few of you guys still believe in. Vote against the worst of the two. But I have moved past it and I'm at peace w/ it.

Nothing any establishment Republican does is gonna stop the armored vehicles if they are coming. More likely they'll be right in there voting to send them out.

The stuff coming out of their mouths right now is absolutely, completely bat poop crazy. No way on earth I'm voting for them or their garbage positions and world views. No way.

The first primary hasn't been run yet and already some of you are throwing in the towel. What a bunch of freaking losers. With opposition like yours the liberal progressives socialist democrats are a shoe in. You might as well turn in your guns now, because if you won't go to the polls you certainly won't fight in the streets. If you can't get everything that you want you'll settle for less than nothing. What an attitude to have. You can't gain a thing without a majority in both houses and a president won't veto legislation passed by his own party, I don't care who he is. Vote for the most conservative candidate who can win. That's how you gain ground.
Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.
