The Republicans have taken the Senate by taking seven seats with possibly more to come. My thanks to all of you who went to the polls to cast your conservative votes. Our guns are safe.

I didn't go to the polls... but I did mail in our absentee ballots after filling them out... about 2 weeks ago. They prohibit weapons in the polling places!

Sadly the money grubbers took over the state of Washington. The so called gunshow loophole bill passed.

I'm mostly pissed cause there really isn't a gunshow loophole and they lied.
I was so looking forward to Gates and Bloomberg, and Paul Allen who donated like 4 million, might have been more, I know there were millions from out of state crying after it got defeated.

The opposing bill 591 which made it illegal to do stupid stuff like 594 failed............

I think it's only a matter of time before the NRA or somebody challenges the law, proves it's unconstitutional and tosses it in the trash bin.

Good news indeed....Now we have the right players in the game but they must make plays and execute the new game plan....We need a first down end around to dismantle Obummercare as much as possible and to repeal the employer mandate and 30 hour work week.....Next up, approve the Keystone Pipeline and open up Government land to oil and gas exploration....Many things for the GOP to do in the next two years, time to grab a hard hat and a lunch pail and get to work!!!!...

I am one who is very happy at the moment. I am afraid McConnell with be a "commander in compromise". Some compromise will have to be done to make things work but how much and on what? I'm going to hold off on the celebrating for a while. Just wish I had more faith in the either party. For sure we are better off than we were. I believe Ovomit, Biden and Reid Inc. are going to push hard for the next two months on their socialist agenda. Hopefully this scared the dems to quit blindly following them. Let's see what happens.

Also i heard on the radio that WA elected a dead democrat in one district.

The law will be challenged. There was progress made in Washington. Republicans have control of the Senate and still have a shot at getting control of the house, depending on how the close races go. I think the approach taken against I-594, putting out a competing initiative, caused more confusion that good. Maybe it will just take another initiative in a year or so to fix it.

Great news - a clean sweep. Looking forward to 2016 - stay healthy and VOTE again in 2 years !!

To be fair to the other side, there have actually been some decent accomplishments by Obi Kenobi-bama

The Economic stimulus, Wall Street reform, he Turned around our Auto industry, Funded education reform, Put a Lid on corrupt Private colleges gouging students, and

Increased support for us Veterans.

Not forgetting that he put a lid on nasty Credit Card companies gouging us; quickly got compensation for victims pf the Gulf oil spill,

Expanded Health insurance for all Children,
Resumed and expanded Stem cell research – which brought many American scientists back home again (they’d fled to other countries after Bush’s ban on stem cell research) –

So now cures will be discovered here at home, for Parkinson’s, Spinal chord injuries, Heart disease, Arthritis, Diabetes (today more children are getting Type 1 Diabetes).
These are just some of his accomplishments that have benefited me and people I know – people from the Left, Right and Center.

That being said, I’m looking forward to the new Senate & Congress improving things, …. And …. a great 4 years following the 2016 elections !!

Sometimes I wonder, if we all live in the same country........................................... .................................................. ...A sluggish 2% economy increase, if you believe their numbers, which I don't...........Wall St. hasn't changed a thing, or a bit.................we have more auto recalls than ever......................our Potus has turned his back on veterans, on more than one occasion.................If a credit card co. wants to charge you 20% interest, don't use their card, I don't need the gov't to tell me or a credit card co. how to do business....................the compensation's that have been handed out by this administration have been so loaded with corruption, that if you didn't know that our Potus was from Illinois, you could guess.......................when did children not have health insurance? Our country is very divided right now..................I like to think of myself as a realist, and from what I've seen take place over the last six years, borders on hideous. Other's are able to see some rosy accomplishments................................... ...sorry, I don't see any
