      Quote from Kenm:

"Great news - a clean sweep. Looking forward to 2016 - stay healthy and VOTE again in 2 years !!

To be fair to the other side, there have actually been some decent accomplishments by Obi Kenobi-bama"

      Come again?????

Economic Stimulas......Solyndra.....17 Trillion Dollars in Debt and on course for 20+

Auto Industry.......Should have let them fail and go through bankruptcy....All he did was delay the inevitable and it will happen again... GM and Chrysler will be back again looking for a hand out because they haven't learned the lesson that got them in trouble in the first place....

Increased support for Veterans.......Remember the VA scandal.....Sorry, not good to be a Vet during Barry's watch

Expanded Health Care for all.......Obummercare....Just wait and see how much the "new" plans cost after the Nov 15 sign up begins....Remember "If you like your plan you can keep your plan" (if you can afford it)

Stem Cell Research......Might as well use the tissue from all those dead babies.....

I think you must be talking about someone other than Ovomit or at least I hope so.....

Not so fast. Good job voting, but Reid and Obama still have 2 months to pull off shenanigans, and nothing to lose now. They will rush through very bad appointments for Attorney General and other key positions while the lame duck Democratic majority in the Senate can still confirm. And its probably going to get very rough for other reasons. Pat Buchanan (imo he was a lousy politician but he's a good analyst) published this column last week

After burying by 20 points his democrat opponent, Windy Windbag Davis (AKA "Abortion Barbie" - who was heavily financed financed by left coast & eastern liberals), our new Texas Governor-elect Greg Abbott said when the legislature sends an open carry bill to his desk, he will sign it. That is something our outgoing doofus governor Perry (formerly a democrat) would never commit himself to do.

Abbott said "What is good enough for Massachusetts is good enough for Texas". He also noted that 43 other states have OC. Texas' no OC is a result of the extensive range wars of the late 19th century.

Of course now the republicrats need to put up or shut up. I have no faith in McConnell to do the right thing.

I'm kinda happy to see all those millions of Democrat campaign donations and advertising dollars flushed down the toilet.

Michelle Nunn's campaign spent over 100 million dollars on her failed bid to be a Democratic U.S. Senator from Georgia....Thats a lotta dough wasted campaigning for a job that pays $174.000 a year.....As a side note, even though she lost the Senate race she did win a blue ribbon for "Best in Show"..... WOOF!!!

Makes me wonder why all the super rich folks contributed so much to our background check law?

                  What's in it for them.

A senator or a congressman and for sure a president I'm sure are considered money in the bank.

Usually they don't need the salary which to them is just lunch money which we probably pay for anyhow.
It's all the side deals they got going and questionable things they can push through that are worth far more to the contributors than what they donated.

It is very enjoyable to see all that money gone for nothing though.

I make it a rule to not post on the political sub forum. To every rule there are exceptions. Today is one. Not pleased with the few failures...^, the PA Gov race results, and I'm sure a few others, but overall, today was a very good political day.

Nobody was really surprised, were they? At the six-year point in a presidency, the party in power has been squashed in all but one election post-WWII. The average losses have been 6 Senate seats and 29 House seats. The party in power has always been the issue on the ballot in all of those races.

                      Same ol' same ol'

Nothing much is gonna change with this little thing, and it says nothing about 2016....just sayin'

He attacked every Tea Party candidate and yet 3 of them won, yet he did all he could to undermine them!
The guys got a pass, if they don't load the plate with bills for barry to veto, then they are still bunch of impotent peckers....
They didn't winn ONE blue state.
The house and the states did MUCH better than the senate.
Stop puffing up your chests, we still have Mitch McConnell and Johnny Bonner 2 limp dicts

The Economic stimulus, Wall Street reform, he Turned around our Auto industry, Funded education reform, Put a Lid on corrupt Private colleges gouging students, and

                          Increased support for us Veterans.

Not forgetting that he put a lid on nasty Credit Card companies gouging us; quickly got compensation for victims pf the Gulf oil spill,

Expanded Health insurance for all Children,
Resumed and expanded Stem cell research – which brought many American scientists back home again (they’d fled to other countries after Bush’s ban on stem cell research) –

So now cures will be discovered here at home, for Parkinson’s, Spinal chord injuries, Heart disease, Arthritis, Diabetes (today more children are getting Type 1 Diabetes).
These are just some of his accomplishments that have benefited me and people I know – people from the Left, Right and Center.

That being said, I’m looking forward to the new Senate & Congress improving things, …. And …. a great 4 years following the 2016 elections !!

Once again, everyone, your voices were heard with your votes. Thanks one and all.
To be fair Obama lead us in the slowest economic recovery since the great depression, socialized medicine and allowed the government to take over one sixth of our economy, failed to secure our boarders, doubled the number of people on food stamps and screwed his black brothers and sisters by forcing them into the chains of poverty on the government plantation. The man is a net total loser.

Was surprised and elated that NC pulled it out. According to the tv reports/polls Hagan was supposed to win. When I went to bed she was up by a 3% margin. Was pleasantly surprised to find out this morning Tillis won instead. The difference was only around 50,000 votes out of over 2 million. Your vote does count !!
