I see the rules of engagement were pretty lax.

Disperse. March and further disperse, but withdraw as soon as the dispersal is accomplished.

Arrest only those with obvious weapons, and do not directly engage individuals, only disperse groups.

Folks have no clue. Guys on TV saying that cops have to have a rule to only shoot for the legs or arms, not the head. There's some of those in every crowd. Yesterday, a guy at work said the same thing. Have you ever shot a gun? Shot at a moving target? Shot at a moving target that wants to kill you? Hmmm? Well, he says, he could have been tazered. My reply - you fire a tazer, its two grand. Bullets are only forty cents each!

There's the nub of it. Protesters don't show up with masks and empty backpacks. Those people were going shopping/looting regardless of the decision. This was all just an excuse. We knew from day 1 that the officer was justified in protecting himself. This incident does make you question your rights in personal protection. It also made me question 9mm as it took 12 shots and 6 hits.

Ignorance at it's finest................................a lot of these businesses were black owned. For the LE in that town, to just sit back and let them burn and pillage is absolutely ridiculous. People that were looting and burning should have been shot on sight. Period. That whole town is full of ignorant mf'ers. It's really easy, don't do any crimes, and you won't be shot.
