Lets see....Dems want to ban guns because bad guys use them, Reps wasn't to ban hoodies because bad guys wear them.....both parties have lost it.

Well. people will be able to see perpetrators more clearly, along with mounted cameras watching their hoodwinks. People won't be as intimidated by seeing people wearing hoodies. I don't think the gov't should tell you how to dress. That all being said, I think you should just be able to shoot anyone wearing a hoodie, never could stand them myself.

Remember when Republicans hated "job-killing regulation?" And when Democrats hated banks? And when banks hated regulation? Well the BIGGEST banks don't mind regs that ONLY THEY can afford to implement because it squeezes the smaller banks out of their market, and it turns out that banks cozy up to both parties depending on the specific issue/regulation at hand.

NONE of this politics stuff is as clear-cut as anyone wants to admit. It's a lot easier to oversimplify everything into "libtard" and "repugnican" saws that only have elements of truth in them at best. Most people don't seem to have time to be discerning enough to cut through the layers of BS on all sides. Which is nice, because easily manipulated and motivated people are easier for those in control to predict the outcomes.

Everyone who thinks things are going to make a big change for the better now that the Repubs (Boehner, McConnell, etc) have the House and Senate hold up your hands. The man with the "pen and the phone" will still be running the show and so far they can't even slow him down, let alone stop him.

There's not much difference between the republican "leadership" and the democrats. They've had their chance before and blew it as far as I'm concerned.

Lots of Rs are worthless, or worse. But I'll never vote for a Dem for anything and I'll hold my nose and vote for whoever has the best chance of keeping them out of power.

I have a strict policy not to vote for an ***hat (as I see them anyway), regardless of his or her political affiliation and however it helps or hurts either party. It's one of the very small powers I have over the process.

I don't vote for people of any party who want to deprive me of my means to protect myself or my family. I'm just old enough not to want to lock myself in the bathroom while home invaders ransack my house or worse. I don't want to rely on LE being my first line of defense. By nature, I'm a sheepdog rather than a sheep. Thus, I vote conservative but I'm flexible enough to vote other parties who have demonstrated that they are middle-of-the-road. When I, and the majority of Californians who voted "NO" to same sex marriage, had our vote nullified by the California State Supreme Court, I got the message that the game was rigged so I left. That was the final straw.
