NBC interviewed an African-American woman about the arrests, and she said it was the violence that brought justice. There's something to teach your kids, who were sitting right there with her. Sad.

I was listening to a Baltimore officer on Megyn Kelly's show and he talked about how the police are so disheartened that they may start letting the small stuff go in fear of retaliation from the politicians. What worries me about this is that Obama would love to have an excuse to nationalize the police.

Interesting.
Contemplate the results, or lack thereof perhaps, had this sort of unrest occurred in states more 2nd amendment friendly, with aware citizens prepared to defend themselves and their community. The thugs and inciters know this and moderate their actions accordingly. From this perspective, Maryland is very different from, say, Georgia. Had those protesters potentially lethally physically assaulted a crowd of Braves fans outside the ballpark in Atlanta in the same manner that they did against those Orioles fans at Camden Yards, the fight would quite likely have ended loudly and quickly.
I carry concealed, legally, as do many of my neighbors. The bad guys know that too.

It's reasonable to expect that the Obama administration ultimately wants to nationalize everything. Probably a little naïve if you don't.Originally posted by palabman View PostI was listening to a Baltimore officer on Megyn Kelly's show and he talked about how the police are so disheartened that they may start letting the small stuff go in fear of retaliation from the politicians. You are assuming that Freddie was executed by the racist police. Are you aware that three of the six officers charged in his death are black. Of course we all know that black racist cops are the worst kind, particularly black female racist cops. Were you aware that Freddie had heroine and pot in his system when he was arrested? At worse the cops were guilty of negligence for not providing medical treatment for Freddie. But by his own actions, Freddie killed himself.Originally posted by knkali View PostDefinitely not a saint but the laws in this land do not allow execution of drug dealers as a punishment no matter how much you find it fitting.

I haven't heard Rush talk about it, but I did hear Mark Levin bring it up once. Of course, the fact that liberals start name calling and sputtering ad hominem attacks when the subject comes up shows a nerve has been hit.Rest in peace Muggsy
