Trump had better be ready to answer insulting questions, because as president he'll be asked that type of question on a daily basis. He doesn't seem to have a problem making insulting comments about his opponents. I won't be watching his military veteran's dog and pony show. I'll be watching the debate. If he really wanted to help the vets he could write a ten million dollar check to wounded warriors and write it off on his taxes. Ten million is chump change to "The Donald."

Any Republican president will be asked insulting questions. Any Democrap president will be asked softball questions. I sympathize with his tactic of saying FU and not playing that game, but I don't know how it will work out in the end.

Reagan bypassed the media and took his message directly to the people. That was before the internet. A politician could make a Youtube video and distribute it, doing the same thing. Instead of holding a "press conference" where they just ask stupid questions and insult everyone.

I think the benefit he put on for the Iowa Veterans will do him a lot more good in that state, than being in the debate would have. And I doubt if you are changing any minds here for that matter. Most of the things you've said about him, apply to most of Congress too. He's pretty smart, He's got all kinds of free publicity, I don't think he's had to spend anything on campaign ads. If Cruz gets the nomination, I'll vote Cruz, if Trump gets it, I'll vote Trump. If it goes to Bush or one of the puppets through political tricks, I'm voting independent. Bush isn't much better than a Democrat in my book. And I don't like Rubio much either.

You do know Ronald Reagan skipped debates too don't you? And the GOP didn't like him much either. But the people sure did.

Fox and the GOP establishment hacks are just pissed that he's writing the script instead of them, so they're trying to say that he's afraid of a girl. Geez, losers. Literally.

Ronald Reagan didn't skip debates for the reason given by Trump. Trump should have attended the debate regardless of which network hosted it or which people moderated it. By not attending he proved that he hasn't the maturity for the job and that he is a loser. If he can't handle the questioning he can't handle the job. A vote for an independent is a vote for Hillary. I'll vote for whomever the republicans run for president. I'm not dumb enough to cut my own throat.

If it's Bush, it wouldn't be that much different from a Democrat. Rubio would hopefully be a little better. Just because he is a Republican, doesn't mean he'll make a good president in those two cases. Trump also knows that the co-owner of Fox News is the co chairman of the group that supports open borders with mexico. The other owner is a Saudi Arabian Prince. Why make them rich.
Also who raised hell when Obama was re-elected - Trump, what did Cruz say? nothing. Who's been a big supporter or investigating Obama's Birth Certificate and using a Social Security Card that belonged to someone else - Trump. What did Cruz say - nothing. Trump has his reasons for doing what he does, it's not immaturity. It's common sense, why support a network owned by someone who has policies you are totally against, and co owned by a muslim. why make them millions of dollars? Most of the independent news people I've heard, except Beck, think he did the right thing in skipping the debate. Who's wife is a big wig for Goldman Sachs - Cruz. You and I aren't going to make any difference in who gets the Nomination. I don't know why you keep beating this dead horse, he ain't going nowhere. The GOP ain't the same as it used to be. It's too full of RINO's that have been in office way too long. My vote isn't going to matter a bit in my state. It's gone GOP for as long as I can remember in the Presidential elections.

This is a very good video explanation of Trump and all the media twisting of his remarks. And on how's he turned attacks into positives. Overall a very good overview of Trump and how the Media has tried to Demonize him and it's mostly backfired. It's kind of long, but it packs a lot of info into the video. Watching even part of it is pretty informing. Oh man, some of the stuff the Media comes up with is so damn funny, Ridiculous, or Just totally bassackwards.

Dang wrong number woke me up and I can't get back to sleep. I guess it's one of those 4am starts to the day.

Trump is doing a brilliant job of manipulating the Media. And getting them to pay for his campaign. Jeb Bush can't even buy 1/4th of that coverage.
He may be a publicity hound, but look where it has him, at the top. And that because his message is resonating with the people. Of course Obama had a message that resonated with the people too, but I don't think Trump is anything like Obama, other than having a high opinion of himself.
But deservedly so, he has done quite a bit. Especially getting the media to pay for his campaign. I'm sure he is exaggerating some things, but I really believe that he means to do as much as he can, that he has promised. If congress will support him, it will go a lot easier, if they fight him, he might not be able to accomplish everything he's promised.

I think he already has New Hampshire locked up. Cruz said if he won those two, that there would be no stopping him. I would agree with that. He could be exactly what this country needs. Right now. A more of moderate that is willing to deal to get things done, to kind of pave the way for a more conservative, like Cruz in 8 years.
If I had any doubt about my state going GOP for President, I'd vote GOP for other than Trump or Cruz, but I damn sure won't vote for another New World Order Bush, or Rubio, or whoever the GOP maneuvers into the nomination if they play tricks at the convention.

Obama and Hillary have done a masterful job of manipulating the media, too. Do you want a master media manipulator for president or a true conservative Commander-in-Chief? Any republican is better that any democrat in the White House. Anyone who votes for an independent is helping put another liberal progressive socialist democrat in the White House. Would you rather have Obama's hand picked candidate in the white house or another Bush? I don't think that can make it any clearer that that.

No movement in congress would be better than more movement to the left. It doesn't have to be an either or proposition. Levin is offering a false narrative. He's also a master manipulator. The president only signs the bills into law or vetos them. The bills are written and passed by the legislature.

Thanks TheTman for posting the Stafan Molyneux vids. I don't think there is such a thing as an unbiased opinion...but Stefan tries to base his on data and careful analysis. But his videos are typically long.

b4, I thought he did an excellent job of explaining Trump, and what he does, and how the media got nuts on it and distorts everything.
Well I was bitching about beating the dead horse, so I'll be brief.

Hillary is more likely headed to prison than the White House. We might end up with Uncle Joe Biden in the White House, if he has to come in and "Save the Day" after Hillary is convicted.

Like I said, my states gone GOP since there was a GOP. My vote is not going to matter. One way or another. Hell maybe I'll write in for The Colonel.

It's kind of sad for Cruz that he couldn't win the debate even without Trump there. Everyone is saying Rubio turned out the winner.

You did get one thing right Muggs, Trump is out. Out front by a mile. What makes you think Cruz will be a masterful Commander in Chief, He's never run anything. Trumps run businesses, is a great negotiator, and usually gets what he wants. I'm sure he'll have a REAL Secretary of Defense. Cruz probably would too though. Not some lily livered pansy like Obama has selected.
