I don't think there is any doubt that Cruz is a true conservative, and that he would make a great president. But I like Trump becuase he can turn this country around for the better with Cruz as his VP in line for the presidency when he gets more age on him.

However, it's only Iowa. 49 more states to go (unless you think there are 57 states).

Yes, but note that Cruz is a "natural born Citizen". However, I'm am thinking he now may choose Huckabee.

Trump is Huckabee's best friend. Trump likes Huckabee. Just like he used to like Cruz.

This might explain why the results were so different from the poll projections.

Please allow me to correct you, Tman. Cruz didn't do anything wrong. CNN mistakenly put out that story and a few of Cruz's supporters circulated it thinking that it was true. It wouldn't have made any difference in the final outcome. Carson would still have been an also ran. Cruz has already apologized for the mix-up.

Tman, it was Cruz that cheated not Trump. Cruz apologized to Carson. How many votes went from Carson is unknown. Cruz is known to play dirty. His college nickname was "that Dick".

A quick check of who's who. The Conservative Review gives Ted Cruz a 97% conservative rating and Marco Rubio a 79% conservative rating. The American Conservative Action Union rates Ted Cruz as 100% conservative and Rubio a 96% conservative rating. Herritage Action rates Ted Cruz 100% conservative and Marco Rubio at 94% conservative. The NRA gives Ted Cruz an A+ rating. The NRA rates Marco Rubio as B+.
