My #1 choice is Cruz followed by Rubio, but don't vote to make me happy. Vote to secure your future. Cruz is a rock solid conservative who defended our second amendment rights in front of the Supreme Court and won. He's a man who won't compromise on his core conservative values. That's why the establishment republicans can't stand him. Rubio is a close second, but a bit weak on illegal immigration.

Actually Muggs, he's explained it several times. Not so much trade war, but sanctions. Mexico gets rich off American companies manufacturing there, and also benefits from the US importing from Mexico. There is a lot that can be done actually.

And, Mr. Trump has also explained that they can pay directly, or indirectly.

And its going to be a beautiful wall, amazing wall, fantastic wall... with big beautiful doors, that can be opened, or locked.....

Our consumers buy more Mexican stuff than Mexicans buy American stuff. Trade deficit.

Mexicans send $23 billion a year from America to their families back home each year. If that money stayed on our soil, in our economy, it could be tapped for wall construction.

And the United States congress is going to go along with sanctions on one of our allies. I'm sorry, but if you believe that you have less of an understanding of how our government works than Trump does. Unless, of course, Trump is going to impose sanctions through illegal executive orders in the image of Barack Obama. Trump is in way over his head. The man is a glorified real estate agent for crying out loud. Trumps motto is, "If it sounds good say it." He thinks that most people will believe it. So far only about 1/3 of the people who say that they are republicans believe him.

Allow me to educate you, John. The only way that the president has of correcting a trade balance is to impose a tariff. That tariff is paid by you when you purchase something from Mexico. Mexico may be hurt in the short term, but we'll be the ones hurting in the long run. I have no problem with building a wall, but it's only a partial solution. What we need to do is eliminate all of the reasons for illegals wanting to come here in the first place. There hasn't been a wall made that people can't go over or under. That was proven in E. Berlin years ago. "Mr. Trump, tear down that wall."

I know what Rubio said and don't need a link. That's why Rubio is number two on my short list. Of course, like Mr. Trump, he's revised his position on illegal immigration. Trump made deals with Mr. Schumer, too. That why Trump didn't make my list. He can't be trusted. The students who enrolled in Trump U. trusted him. Now they're suing him for fraud.
