      • PM40 or Bodyguard380 (usually in a Remora): depending on what activity I'm doing; what I'm wearing; where I am going; what gun I am training with; and how I feel about carrying it that particular day. Sometimes I just want a change. At half the weight our sweet, little 380 makes our tiny, sexy PM40 feel like a giant.
Yes, I routinely train with what I carry everyday.

              • In warm weather I often carry a CW9, otherwise a 1911 of some sort, either a Para LTC .45 or my customized SA Mil-Spec.

I carry either my CM9 in a "Sticky" pocket holster or my Taurus TCP with Crimson Trace laser in a "Sticky" pocket holster.

                  • It's been a year and a half since I first answered and I still carry my little Seecamp LWS32 and a marvelous HK P2000sk 9mm, (the best compact on the planet, IMHO). The Seecamp is carried more often in the summer.

The Dynamic Duo, the Hk seeing about 5 years of service and the Seecamp over 20.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

That Seacamp is a pretty little gun, but I have a question: is the trigger pull - like - 11-12 lbs as I have heard?
                      Very interesting...

A typical measured pull weight I've seen reported is about 10 lbs on the DAO Seecamp. After 24 years it is well broken in, feels lighter than 10lbs and is buttery smooth. The pull is fairly long, measured at about 3/4".

On paper the Seecamp looks difficult and almost too tiny to shoot well, but in person the package is very well suited to it's purpose and everything works together in a finely made, silky smooth, competent manner. One has to get used to a "finger and a half" grip and learn to love a sightless gun, but once you get over these features, the gun shines and grows on you. At least it did for me.

Thanks. I've always admired those guns. I guess I'll have to wait until I can handle one in a LGS or at a show, and see how my partially paralyzed hand can do with that trigger.

Could a competently done trigger job lighten it up some?

I've read of trigger jobs done on the Seecamp but I've never personally compared one. Perhaps this linked thread will answer some of your questions. This link takes you to the Seecamp forum.

                            • seecamp makes really nice looking and what seems well made guns. Never owned one but they sure are nice.

I wasin my local Gander mountain store today for thefirst time in ages. Now I remember why I don't go in there. they had a cm9 in there for $559 and a PM9 stainless finish for $799 and right beside each gun was a jar of KY jelley..

unbelievalbe place and they lock bank robbers up every day for what Gander does legally.
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Well, jocko, you did realize there was a reason why Gander Mtns are usually close to a highway, right?
