  • Up until now, I've carried 1911's in various sizes up to 5". Like Commander's a lot, but the Officer's got its use. My Springfield "Compact 45" is a 4", which is a unique length, using a standard size bushing, but having the Officer's size frame. That was my mainstay, except for the occasional carry of my SP101.

Just got a PM45.... I dont think I'll go back to anything else soon. Don't get me wrong! I still like all of my 1911's, but..... this PM45 is the cats rosette. I've had it a week and already converted two Glock shooters. Goin' up to Virginia... got a few more converts to make up there. Can't say enough nice about this little Kahr.

    • H&K P2000Sk when I holster up.
Kahr PM9 when I pocket carry.
Those are my most often carried pistols.

      • I'm finally down to two that I carry 99% of the time; either my PM9 or my Seecamp .32 I carry the Seecamp when I can't comfortably conceal a "real gun" due to what I'm wearing or what I'm doing on a given day. For example, I pocket a Seecamp when golfing.

If I played golf I'd have a special slot in my stick bag for my Thompson.

            • XD9sc up until I got my PM40. The PM40 is so much easier to conceal.

              • Since loosing 100lbs, the G26 90% of the time.

The other 10% is mostly the MK9 pocket carried. Man that is convenient!

Now that I have a K9, I may work that into the rotation.

                • I carry a Sig P6 and now a CW9 which I seem to carry a lot more these days. Every once in awhile an M&P9c.

                      • Right now I am edc'ing a Glock 33 in either a iwb holster or pocket holster if clothing permits. Once I get my CM9, that is what I will be pocket carrying.

                        • I was carrying a S&W 642 Pro with a big dot tritium sight and frame mounted laserlyte in a Desantes Superfly pocket holster.

I have a custom Robar Rogaurd finished Mag-na-ported MK40 with wood grips and Novak night sites that I also carry in either a fanny pack or another Desantes superfly pocket holster. I've been carrying the MK40 the most lately but there is nothing wrong with the S&W 642 Pro loaded with 38 spc Magsafes. I have carried the 642 Pro for a couple of years since they came out. Probably will revert back to that after a while. It is a lot lighter than a MK40 but the MK40 (though being much heavier) has one more round ready to go and is way more powerful.

                              • Kahr PM45, Stainless Officer's ACP, Springfield "Compact .45", Browning HP at times, sometimes still a Commander .45 in stainless. Very rarely a full size Government Model .45, and sometimes an SP101 in .38Special chambering

Of those, the Kahr PM45 is the choice of choices. Very hard to beat for size, weight and punch.
