  • How are you going the whole day without bending over/constantly adjusting shirt?

Any of the holsters I've tried to wear with my cm9 at 4 -5 love to grab the tshirt I'm wearning as soon as I move, turn, or bend at all. I need to be constantly pulling my shirt down to avoid it from hanging behind the gun and my body. I even put a button up (untucked) shirt over the tshirt and I'm still getting the same result. An undershirt isn't the solution to this, maybe a bunch of layers would work but that's just burying what I might need and is going to be too hot in the summer.

Any suggestions on how you over come this? The holsters I'm using are not currently using slide guards, not sure if that would make a difference. Is a slide guard worth it? I'm considering going with a high noon tail gate or tail gunner instead of my split decision which is slightly uncomfortable without a shirt.

I use a silent thunder holster, never had this problem. Are you using one inside the waistband or on the belt? Inside the waistband might help if you haven't tried that.

Other than that, silk or rayon shirts should help.

I use a Sneaky Pete holster. I can wear it anytime, even shirtless.

I'm attempting iwb. I'm about 5'6" 150ish. I have a theis and pj holster on the way, I hope to not strike out with them as well.

Printing and snagging depend on tightness of shirt, color of shirt and the fabric.
Cotton T-shirts sent to snag on stuff if I try to squeeze into my old sized ones. If I wear the proper size I'm good. Darker is generally better for disappearance. Synthetic quick-dry fabrics tend to be a little more forgiving in the proper size. You definitely have to make some compromises when carrying IWB.
I use a Theis IWB at 4. Have a PJHolster on it's way to me right now.
Keep trying different combinations and you'll find something that works for you.

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

One of the many reasons I am retraining myself to carry at 3 o' clock. 4 or 5 feels more comfy but is constantly poking out, making me (and others) aware of the gun. No bueno. 3 is also easier to restrain one handed, reholster, etc..

currently an ebay knock off version of a crossbreed I got for $35 and trimmed into a micro tuck single clip type configuration. I have a Pj's on the way, which should arrive today, and I will report back for you. I have been "made" before carrying at 4-5 o'clock in a very inconvenient place and time. Won't happen again. I keep that sucker right on my hip now. Takes a little getting used to, but I think the benefits far outweigh the slight lack of comfort.

I carry my PM9 in a Don Hume IWB at 3:30. It does not snag on anything and is quite comfy.

I'm looking at a custom holster on eBay that looks like the 715. I'm not sure if no cant will help or hurt my problem.

The PJ IWB works for me at 8:30. T-shirts are kind of thin, which causes the problem you are having. Although some Ts are made of thicker material. And, as TinMan said, loose is better. A shirt that is patterned or plaid helps. I find that a loose polo works well. I sometimes wear a sleeveless T under it to keep the holster off my skin, but just a little folded square of cloth behind it would do, such as a handkerchief. Some people attach moleskin(?) to the back of their holsters to wear them against the skin. I might try that with my PJ.
                      Very interesting...

I use a N8^2 Tactical (www.n82tactical.com) with my T9 and TP45 at 6 o'clock. It's supremely comfortable and I've never had an issue with snagging or printing. I also just received a Crossbreed, so I'm learning how to wear a tuckable holster at 3 or 4 o'clock.

+1 on the Don Hume and I appendix carry 1:30-2:00
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I know what you mean, I have the same problem. I carry a M&P 9c in a M-TAC at about 4:30 with a high ride for full grip. Mine is fine until i sit down and then stand back up. When I stand i always catch my shirt riding up and hanging on the grip. The gun doesn't show normally but it does hang on it. I wear a XL button up t shirt usually. Maybe I need to try a smaller shirt like one of the posters suggested or different position.

LL Bean makes polo shirts that have extra long tails. The bottom of the shirt is straight and the side has small (3") vents and the back of the shirt is longer than the front. Don't worry it does not look stupid.
Another holster you might try is the "Stealth Holster". It is basically a crotch holster but you can wear it anywhere. Sometimes I use it like a belly band. My husband has borrowed it a couple of times and likes it so well that he has ordered one. The Stealth is not as fast on the draw as some other holsters but it is a nice option when nothing else seems to work; i.e. bike riding, or wearing shorts (that may not have belt loops) and a tank top.
