Today I recieved my OD green traction grips for my cm9 in the mail. They are a combination of fabric with a rubber coating. So far I really like them.

OOh, I like those OD green traction grips. I wonder how well they stay in place if cleaner gets on them. Let us know.

I will do. I kinda have my doubts but who knows. I really like the texture and comfort of th grips though. They are very different being that they are fabric and rubber.

Update to my update: Been carrying for over a week with the rubber Talons and it is sooooo much better. Shirts don't get hung up and no rubbing my skin raw when it does touch. Will stick with the rubber going forward.

I have Talon rubber grips on 3 of my pistols and I'm getting ready to get them for another. Great feel and comfort.

I'm running two different talon grips on my P320. On my subcompact grip I'm running the granulated grip. With my compact grip I'm running the rubber talons, which are ok but the granulated feel way better.
On my PM9 I used skateboard tape and this stuff is more abrasive then the talon granulated grips.
Its chewing up a cheap little leather holster I carry it in. Without a undershirt on it will turn your skin into dog meat eventually from all the rubbing. Feels great in my hand but it comes at a cost of course.

I used to use the rubber Talon and I really liked it until one really hot summer day on the range the glue started melting, and the whole grip started shifting while I was shooting.... Also I found that virtually all solvents I use to clean my guns attack the glue.

Took me some time and effort to clean the gooey stuff left on the grip frame. Then I switched to Hogue rubber grip sleeve and never looked back.

Love the rubberized talons vs the granulated. The granulated grips snag my t-shirts and abrade my skin when carried IWB during the warmer months. Not so with the rubberized ones. There seemed to be a short period after the original owner of the company passed away, that the adhesive didn't quite seem up to par... not as sticky as the previously made grips. Possibly a bad batch of adhesive. That was corrected in short order.

With that said, I have rubberized talons on all 6 of my carry guns. Good stuff!
