can't tell you that at all. Have no idea when they went to the new slide thing or if even all kahrs sent out today have the new slide thing . There is to my knowledge no link to that. I would think if you nee dto know that just call kahr and askthem what serial number did they start putting the beveled longer slides on the PM9. I certainly would not have one of those beveled slides. I for the life of me can see no reason why they even did it, let alone the mass confusion now in ordering the correct recoil spring and recoil spring assembly. dumbest fooking thing I ever heard of. we now took a small subcompact gun and made it bigger for WHAT????

I guess I've got a REALLY old K9, s/n AB00xx! It runs well... it's all black, with night sights (still glowing well), and CT grips (that need service). Does anyone have any thoughts on the finish, the trigger, etc.?

carbon steel blued slide, NYPD trigger system. Damn good gun, Probably now smoother than glass. Keep in mind the old sayingj, "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT.

PM9 W Diamond Black Slide / Mfg.12/22/2010.

Notice the "A" at the end of the model number. SIgnificant?

I ask kahr that question over a year ago and no one knows why it is there. It designates nothing. U certainly have a very late model,k another 2300 more of IC and they will change to IDxxxx

I think your confused there Mr. Jocko. You were here before me and they used my picture for a poster that reflected that people with no brains could be members.

Just picked up a PM4043 a couple weeks ago with the serial number JA****.
Anyone have anything similar? If so, when was yours manufactured?
